I sadly expect to be disappointed and see no further moves of note.

I think most part it will be neutral, probably a 18 years old D for Anania.

Larmand and McCallum are good OA's for next year, depending what kind of offer you get for them. Ideally do something like Missy did get some young talent for their vets. However Missy vets higher caliber and were able to get good quality youth back.

I would think Mauro will be released or sent down, after the acquisition of Yearwood.

possible upgrade for some depth, move Boudreau. I can't see much for this year.

Not sure you have been paying close attention, but if all Wolves players had Boudreau’s work ethic on the ice we’d be further up the standings. I think Boudreau is Derek’s kinda of player and we would never bring back equal value on a trade at this time of year.

I’ll buy that. Mostly having trouble finishing and putting up points but the effort is there and it is doubtful we could get a good enough return to replace him.

Respectfully, we have no problem scoring goals on this current team. Boudreau has an important role on PK and bottom six. Having said this, watch, he’ll get traded…who knows. To me he sets a great example on the ice.

Also, a fearless player.

not a Boudreau fan, mind you he has played much better lately, he's been up and down from the third and fourth line. I think his spot can be filled won't be back as an OA next year, if can get a pick or youth for him I would pull the trigger.

When a player's calling card is defensive play and PK, and that team is 19th on the PK, and given up the 6th most goals. Not sure I see the value in a 19 year old on the roster.

Last year I thought Boudreau was great; he was physical, and he was making plays with the puck. Those two elements of his game have disappeared this year.

We have a difference in opinion, I’m not saying he isn’t tradable but To get a 10-15th round pick in 26 now for him isn’t worth it. We have zero forward depth. If he becomes part of a package or we get a younger player back like Yearwood I’m good with that. But if playoffs or bust is the only outcome, he has more value than any projected trade for futures. He can also be moved for futures in off season! I think in limited ice time DM has had a positive influence on him.

I definitely agree he's played his best hockey under MacKenzie

I agree with this. Ranger may end up somewhere else where his workload will be in relief and help in the leadership role of a team making a run. However if this is the case I would have liked Sudbury to keep the OA spot open and bring in another overage player on defence or forward to help this team in the playoffs. Heck I would rather them sign Morrow or the kid they bring up from Espo Marois he is only 19. Who really cares at this point. Let Krawchuk get the lions share.

yes I thought third goal should have had. First two goals were a 2 on 1, second goal was a 2 on 0. 4th goal was a blast top corner. I can't remember the 5th I think it was a break away five hole. and 7th goal break away back hand. If our goaltending situation was good in the first place wouldn't be looking at another goalie.
The goal tending was never the root issue. This is the worst set of defence man I’ve ever witnessed. Ranger was on par to have the most shots against in OHL history. Last nights goals looked VERY familiar. Same breakdowns, shots all from the same spot. You can’t blame a goalie when this is what he faces almost every game. Brassard got the same treatment last night, and the wolves had the same result.

I don't dispute our dismal defence. That's why I wanted to see the OA spot filled with another dman.

I suspect the Wolves will be looking to unload a forward tomorrow for picks or a dman. Can't see them sitting one of Walton, Bourdreau, or Assadourian with Mauro.

My guess - Larmand, Anania, Assadourian all shipped out. An 04 LD incoming, another 04/05 forward added, and hopefully a pick or two heading our way and not the other way.. Change the look of the team slightly and build for next season

Hope Paps is not finished looks like they are worse off now since trade window opened. Please prove me wrong, is there something we are missing?
