OUR boy, and perhaps captain?

If Delly stays healthy, should be in line for 30+ goals, 80+ points.

What I'm curious to see is do the Wolves keep Delic on the top line with Goyette/Musty? Or spread the scoring out and have Delic drive another line.
He deserves to be on the 1st line. He's a 1st line player. But, if they want to move him to 2nd to spread out scoring, upgrade his wing/ line.

Ideally in a contending year, we want two "1st lines". Upgrades are needed for sure. Curious what Paps has in store on the trade front. No excuses for the Wolves to get out to a slow start. I don't want to see North Bay or some other team start running away with the Division/Conference. Wolves need to take control and make a statement as a true contender. An early trade or two to make upgrades would be a welcomed change, and then come the trade deadline go "all in" and load up for a deep run.

Wolves lost alot of points to NB past view years. Thst can't happen this year. Make no mistake about it, NB knows what Sudburys focus is this season and would like nothing nothing more to throw a wrench into throw plans.

Agreed. NB is going to be tough again, hard working team. Best goalie in the league, very strong group of OA's, solid D-core led by Nelson, Mathurin, Christopoulos, and some really skilled younger forwards.

With the players showing on the pre-season roster, just a guess at a possible line-up for tomorrow:

Taylor Villeneuve McCallum
Mauro Larmand Konyen
Yearwood K.Walton Coughlan
Peters-Davey H.Chitaroni DiGiantommaso

Protz Chromiak
Pryce M.Chitaroni
C.Walton Bruce
Jackson

Krawchuk
Gaulton

20 players listed in the lineup for the wolves. No Jackson.

I could see McCallum,Larmand and Konyen playing elsewhere sometime this season.

If I was the GM McCallum would never wear the Wolves jersey again. Just plain stupid… Larmand has to go too he just doesn’t make this team better. These guys represent the past. Time to move on…
Something ain't right upstairs with McCallum. Shouldn't of brought him back with they penalty he took against the Pete's when he interferred with the goalie in the playoffs.

Anything you seeing that you like tonight?

Can we add Yearwood to the bus out of town?

I also don't know the last time I've seen such little effort out of our first rounder. Does he even want to be here?

How Yearwood seen so much ice time tonight was baffling to me. I hope the coaching staff are going to start making players accountable for their actions. We CANNOT be the most penalized team again this year.

McCallum - very polarizing. If he can play the way he did most of last season he can be very effective. He can also be a negative at times for our team. I think he's locked in as an OA given his history - whether you like it or not. I actually didn't see him chirping or instigating at all during the 1st period until the altercation - but I guess it was only 1 period.

Larmand - not good enough for an OA spot. He did not stand out in a game against mostly prospects. He's a bottom 6 forward who provides two way play but minimal offence and a history of being undisciplined. I'd be surprised if he played in the OHL this season given the other OA options out there. I'd much rather have Boudreau.

Konyen - It's only been 2 games but still looks like the same player he's been the past 2 years. I don't see a player good enough to return as an OA next season.
