Nip it the (bud?) early in the season, down 2-1 possibly going down 2-0 in a best of seven; I don’t think so.
The more talented team with one the league’s top goaltenders is not losing 4 of 5
yes, bud :) Wolves I hear are looking at drafting in the import draft goalie from Finland, Loof Lirpa.

What world are we living in where a Petes fan is chirping any fan base about # of empty seats.. We're officially in the matrix
Yeah, I was told by many people last night that the attendance for these last two games was not at all reflective of how it was during the year. Man, I’m telling you I have a new appreciation for our arena after being in that claustrophobic little barn. Well, I was there, but we all seen it. I just can’t believe they couldn’t get their act together for the playoffs. As far as lots of seats being available, they would be considering their midweek games and there’s no more free tickets. Trust me if the Wolves were able to create some buzz that would change.
I can’t really add anything that hasn’t been said, other than with all due respect to Peterborough, what a sleepy town with a capital S. I like that there’s a lot of old timers to talk hockey with. Was going to take a half an hour to get a cab to go to the game so I just ended up walking over the bridge.
Must win game Tuesday guys.

Sudbury is a mickey mouse operation they lost a lot of fans with the previous owner and his son fiasco i'm one of them i use to go 15 to 20 games a year now once every 2 to 3 years. On top of that their concession price are stupid crazy high which really hurts them to get fans to go to their games.
Was buddy. Burgess is gone. Funny, you don’t go to the games but you have to shoot your mouth off on here. How about you go away for another couple years.

Well nothing can be worse than being down 2-0 and not going back to your own barn. Windsor was poo poo tonight. At least we didn't give up a ton of propects and picks for the first round exit.

Its a crap hole that arena. Been there and never to go back. If they take the series good for them they ain't going far after that. Have fun.

So how do you know the concession prices when you haven't gone to a game in 2 or 3 years. I call BS on your comment. And if you are anywhere near the arena this year the place is happening again. Don't worry next year when we make our run remind yourself not to show up because how expensive the concession prices are. Stay home and eat your jellybeans!

We’re not done yet. We win both home games we win the series in 6.

I know it has been probably said somewhere but I have missed it. What arecthe nature of the Walton and Collins injuries? Thanks

A team that plays out of the Sudbury Community Arena, truly one of the worst in the OHL, better not be talking about arena qualities. Just hilarious reading all the off ice excuses and complaints right now lol Like not one person has said Peterborough has a top tier arena but I would choose the PMC every single day over Sudbury's thing. Not even a comparison at this point like come on:laugh:

But let's put the obvious aside and play the freaking game and let things land how they may.

The Sudbury arena is a fine place to watch a game imo. Access and egress is easy and parking is fair at $5-7 if you’re not too put out by having to park all the way across the street and have to walk 1-3 minutes.
Player amenities and the cost of maintaining infrastructure is where the wolves rate low.

My brother in christ, your arena has square corners.

I’m sorry I picked the Wolves in 6. I knew it was never gonna happen when I saw Dmack put Larmand on the first line like he’s the answer to anything. He was 2/12 and 5/13 on face offs. Just silly decisions behind the bench and stupid penalties over and over. He plays his grinders way too much I know now coaches were happy losing only 2-1 they never played to win.
Larmand barely belongs on a 4th line. His hit from behind again in the second game could have been another suspension. He comes back from an 8 game suspension and coaches play him like he’s our top player this was just unthinkable.

If the first line played in London they would play 25-30 min a game just saying…

Brassard has been stellar there’s no way he deserves being 0 and 2 right now.

Lol, yeah, it's a known thing in Peterborough that you can't get a cab on a weekend night. Half the time they just don't bother to answer the phone. It's a great system!

few years back try to get a pizza delivered to your hotel after 10 pm in Peterborough, impossible, maybe different now. Mr. Bob Pizza you could get a 8-ball of coke though. :)

Ya and they’ve already got a goal from them.

No it’s the same. One eyed jack looked interesting to try out as a restaurant, but it was really packed. Shout out to Sticks, good time there.

Well we agree on one thing. Not even a comparison. To each his own, you must have been dipping your head in the cold Kawartha waters. I had to remind myself it wasn’t the fifties. C’mon on up here this week. Your ignorance speaks volumes. The Sudbury arena is an awesome place to watch a hockey game, the newer cookie cutter rinks can’t touch it. I hear it all the time from opposing road announcers. When was the last time you’ve even been up here. Your washrooms make ours look like the Hilton they’re so small. One or two places to get beer. Endless concession lines. No, outside of blatant homerism you’re all wet. Like I said there’s a lot of water down there.

People were cool though. I didn’t get splashed walking the bridge. Not sure that would be the same everywhere. People were nice and laid back, nothing against the city. Had a good time. With the right attitude I can have a good time anywhere.

love the sudbury arena
I’m at the point where I could care less if and when we get a new one. Honestly. I park near the Townehouse and I’m out and on on Notre Dame in minutes. Obviously Zulich doesn’t feel the same way though.

I agree. I think D Mack has got way to much of a pass. Coach sets the tone. When he loses his head, it doesn’t exactly set a good example. Just because he local, was a great leader and pro hockey player doesn’t mean his coaching tactics can’t be questioned, though it seems only now I’m starting to hear more rumbling. Lots to learn.

Cheers for not getting all defensive. I think there were two numbers. Capitol cab (half hour) and some Uber type thing but ya man….they wouldn’t answer ;)

The news on those two seem to have been blacked out.

Looks like it. Playoff blackout. I’ll see what I can find out Tuesday. Course the Petes lost a defenceman last game. Not sure if he’ll be back for the next one. Another real loss is Degrazia. I’m hoping by some miracle that they‘ll back (Walton and Collins that is). Another real loss is DeGrazia A threat to score every time we were killing a penalty. We could really use his offense now.
