Lol calm your horses pal 89 is a work in progress on his 16 yo season. Larmand should have been smarter ? yes Delic and Goyette would have been better options but Dmack seems to think their only job is to score. I miss seing them on the PK especially with DeGrazia being out we could use more speed on the pk. Easy to see Dmack loves grinders… Doesn’t really know what to teach skilled talented players. He just rolls his 4 lines they get PP but nothing more.
He may be a WIP in the OZone, but the best we have in the DZone and on the dot…Bud!

He is strong for a true rookie and has a good FO% mostly vs other team’s bottom six, but Larmand is no doubt the choice for the Dzone FO right now.
Tip of the cap for a spectacular face-off goal by Lavoie, that’s all. There was no way Larmand could have prevented that except a FO violation

If I remember properly, McCalum had gotten thrown out of the circle on that Dzone draw with 4 seconds left. Larmand was second man in.

You might be right about that. And maybe opposing RCs would have reduced the likelihood of that incredible FO one-timer. But if looking for a key Dzone FOW, Larmand is the wolves’ clear choice imo.

I’m not the type of person to say I told you so: but when we were buried in 9th place and most believed we would not make the playoffs, I went on record several times and said we would. Pats on back accepted…..
I think most believed 7th was the most likely finish for the wolves all along with no one really surprised if the final standing were anywhere from 6-9.
It’s just fact that die-hard fans react to each game like it’s season defining.

9 games to go. All big ones to continue climbing the ladder in the standings

In the Soo tonight and then back home Friday to face the powerhouse London Knights. Wolves can make it 10 wins in a row for Friday night home games with a win this Friday

Delic is out tonight. The kid can’t stay healthy. Walton and DeGrazia is out as well.

Yeah, there’s that great discipline and idiocy on display. This is ridiculous, Larmand twice in a matter of games. Gimme a break, pathetic. Really learned his lesson and was held accountable. Great way to start the game with momentum. Good thing our pk is better than our PP…so far

Wearing an A on the jersey too.

What with the using initials thing? Have to figure out who you’re referring to…maybe it’s just me. Okay….I get it, referring to Yearwood by his initials after referencing him by his name. Second one of course had to be a reference to Spring Heeled Jack T

Soo didn’t put up much fight tonight, Brassard fairly well shielded but man can the Wolves manufacture goals. Fun to watch. For the naysayers just imagine the chemistry between Musty and Goyette next year! Our boy Mcallum stepping up. Looking like a team, guys pick up the slack Il give them that. They seem tight too, which is likely why when one of them is messed with they go a bit nuts now and then. You’ve gotta love the Wolfpack mentality and team toughness but they’ve got to channel it properly and not let it be counterproductive.

What a turn of events it would be if somehow the Wolves got 4th and home ice
Never seen the Wolves light up the Soo for 9 in their own barn in my life!

Hope to get Delic and Walton back Friday. Expecting Larmand to be out the rest of the year since its his 3rd major for head checking in the second half of the season. First one on Verling, then the goalie in Mississauga and now tonight.

London plays in Barrie Thursday so hope the Wolves can catch them Friday a bit worn and tired. But they will need to have one heck of a performance to beat them. I can't recall the last time I seen them beat London.

As for tonights game. The Soo looked awful. Sudbury played with many different line combos due to injuries and ejections. But nice to see them overcome some adversity losing Larmond early. Then playing without Delic, DeGrazia and Walton. Props to them.

As for getting 4th that would be nice but the schedule does no favours for us as Hamilton has Niagara back to back this weekend and the Petes have Kingston back to back. So not much will change IMO. The best would be to get the 4th spot or even 5th but we would need to win at least 6 of the remaining 8 to get there IMO.

If they take care of their own business with their remaining games it's quite possible. Wolves are red hot right now on home ice Friday nights, so hopefully that trend continues to finish out the season. Two huge Friday night home games to come against the Petes and Hamilton... Need to take all those points and not give any away in those games. Wolves will need to find a way to scrape out some tough points on the road with some tough games, two in Barrie and one in North Bay. Then you got London this Friday which will be extremely tough, and two more against the Soo. Going to be a fun ride to the end!

Landon Edgar McCallum had a great game as well. Best player on the ice tonight.

I’m very excited for Wolves hockey next season. From an outsider’s perspective obviously I don’t know the inner goings of the team but it’s such a great core and the future looks very bright. Something is telling me DiVincentiis is gonna be Sudbury bound next season and hey why not Nelson too:naughty:

I like listening to Mark Matier

Like Larmand tenacity but once he sets his eyes on a target, he can't help himself. Hopefully it's 2 or less for him.

Krawchuk with the start in the big tilt Friday night.

2 game’s suspension will be a gift from god. He may not play another regular season game this year…repeat offender and recent suspension applies here.
