I knew they would win tonight, they got so close against Boston in the last game that I KNEW the losing streak against Boston was ending tonight.

Plus they have a weirdly strong record without Auston Matthews that I have never been able to understand but they do.

I am old school as anyone get around here. I appreciate that part of the game. But he's getting paid 1.5 and he's slow otherwise. if he's adding that element and sending a message, then there are other players who get paid league minimum can bring that

I mean, I'd bring that Rempe kid in to be an x-factor if we wanted an enforcer, but I think you generally just want a tough mean player who can play in that role... Lorentz is not bad.

Great game, very good special teams. Stolarz is awesome, best FA signing this year. Not always trying to find Matthews on the PP helped.
Knies is an absolute beast please sign him long term!

This team plays well when they're missing one of their big name players.
It's almost as if, once the team knows they will be shorthanded, the mentality changes and everyone knows they will need to step up and the group comes ready to battle and play hard for 60.

Marner was great offensively and defensively. He will get paid, it’s a matter of greater or less than 12million.

Tanev is sooo steady back there. He has to be healthy for the playoffs.

The PP figuring they have to shoot pucks with a net front presence. Maybe they’ve figured this out but this board told them to do this years ago.

Seems pretty clear to me. I just pointed out that he's useless and tonight was a good representation of being useless if he isn't going to do what he should be doing. If you want to defend it by just excusing it that it's no biggie, then that's fine.
