This is exactly the type of game I was worried about when Andersen signed: not a ton of shots but a LOT of dangerous shots that required a goalie to step up and make big saves.

I was completely wrong. Mr. Andersen stepped up. And yes, I love the call from Maniscalco even if it’s already played out for the season.

I still worry about the backup position. We're giving Freddie a workload no Canes goalie has seen in like a decade. We're going into a packed schedule and Freddie isn't exactly a young buck anymore. If Raanta is out for any longer than a week or two, I really think we need to consider bringing in a veteran goalie.
