Yeah, in typical wacky Canes hockey, Brady appeared to have scored the winner, but then Tro was offside.
Play restarted. Freddie almost got decapitated and then Necas scored the game winning goal for realsies.
A game so nice we had to win it twice!
Necas is the only player we have that is immune to Vasy’s mojo.

Seriously though, we deserved that. Even a loss in regulation, I would have been happy with the response to last game. Then it was great to get a point we totally deserved. Then the two points we totally deserved. Then the two points we totally deserved again.

Necas 3v3 is an elite specialist. That shot misses so often on 5v5. If he could somehow harness that OT power.

Honestly that was the first time I was unsure of whether we could tie it much less win it. Even going late in the Panthers game I felt better for some reason.

He didn't necessarily get peppered tonight, but Freddie had some elite level saves tonight to keep us in this one. Absolutely stoked we were able to pull back into it for him, because he deserved it, especially after we failed him in Sunrise.
