$4.5mil for Broberg? That seems like a lot.

Neither are major roster players for the Oilers. Might suit them better to take the picks as capital for the TDL.

Broberg was paid basically over 100% of his likely maximum potential will be.

This move would cost the oilers two youngish pieces

If they sign them back then bouchard is gonna get offersheeted something crazy or draisaitl will walk

I let broberg walk and bring holloway back if im the oilers
This literally makes zero sense.

If Edmonton trades Ceci & Kulak they can sign both Broberg & Holloway.

Not to mention Kane won't be all that difficult to trade if need be

Its later in the summer why would anyone want any of those guys at this point?

No contending team will want Ceci and Kane has injury concerns + potential declining issues which makes him a hard guy to be fine with trading for

Kulak would have value but isnt he a hetter player than Broberg? Losing him would create a hole and weaken the oilers who are a top 3 or 4 contender this year
