Can teeth be put back in? Serious question.

No. Chipped teeth are repaired with posts being anchored in the remaining part of the tooth, then covered in the same material used to fill cavities until it matches what the tooth would originally have been. Holds up quite well in the long term, I’ve had one for 10 years with one of my front teeth and it’s never suffered damage
