I say this with respect but Sutter is a moron for not pulling the goalie when the Kings actually had an ongoing possession. He waited until the puck was in the defensive zone.

Because, oh I don't know, maybe the injuries to our top goaltender, Toff, and Kopi hampered our progress this season. It's clear as day that the latter two are off their game.
There's plenty to be excited about. But alas, fire the front office and promote Rob ****ing Blake.
Elite leadership in sports is the hardest commodity to find. Y'all act like it's just waiting to be had.

You have to think the GM knows his job is on the line if they miss the playoffs, and that might spell doom for Sutter very soon.
But this is not 2012, a coaching change is not going to make any difference, this is just a very poorly constructed team.
Looking forward to seeing some fresh ideas come in this summer, but it's going to be a huge challenge rebuilding this disaster.

Results matter, and results are unacceptable at this point, damn the process. We have relative health and a favorable schedule. Budaj sucked ass but you aren't gonna win many games with 1 goal. Team is far more talented than this, and they look like they're just going through the motions now. It's shades of the dying gasps of the Terry Murray era.

So many overpaid bums on this team. At least Brown is showing some god damn effort and is working hard out there. Can't say the same about many others.

You think goaltending is the reason this team is going to miss the playoffs?
What is there to be excited about?
What elite leadership? The Kings won 2 cups largely on the back of 3 Taylor draft picks. Kopitar, Quick and Brown got old, and the Kings haven't come close to drafting anyone to replace them, mainly because the GM has made foolish trade after foolish trade.
They had full posession. If you're paid 14 million dollars you should be able to dump the ****ing puck all the way into the ****ing corner.
