Quick is not going to turn this season around.

Probably not, but I've seen stranger things happen with this team.

Only three of them have been here all season. How do you explain the **** show from everyone else?

This team isn't in a hole due to inexperience, they're in this position because the likes of Kopitar, Gaborik, Muzzin, Martinez, Toffoli, even Doughty are all playing well below expectations.

This team as a whole is underachieving.

The interesting thing is all those guys minus DD and Martinez have been hurt at some point this year. Martinez is slotted a bit high at #3 and would probably do better slotted down and Drew seems to have the weight of the world on his team.

Is it the coaches bringing them back to soon? Not having them prepped? We know TT is hurt long term but if he is this sloppy just rest him, no need in wrecking his future.

I also think saying Doughty is playing well below expectations is completely wrong, but that's probably nitpicking. He's having a monster year, he's just not utterly flawless defensively like last year. Defensively speaking, that might be the single best season a Kings d-man has ever had, and outside of Chara's Norris, the best full-season defensive performance since at least Lidstrom, numbers AND eye test confirm.

Yeah I've really has no issue with Doughty. It's just the **** show of Muzzin and Martinez.

Quicks hot headed demeanour might be what this team needs. Remember after getting shelled two games in a row against the Sharks it was Quick at the bench as skaters went off talking to every skater positively. They mounted an epic comeback after that

He got injured coming to a teammates aid.

Just give him the C

He may just punch Gabby in the face if he gets fed up

I think we see a different team with Quick in there. Hope he doesn't get hurt by returning to soon

Quick is gruff, but he's the man. Keep Quick way from the curse of the C.
