So lots of things up in the air. Assuming Brass is back in and Step/Carcillo are out, I'd like to see Miller take Step's spot. Don't want to mess with the Brass line or the chemistry Hags/BR/MSL seem to be gaining.

JT Miller will be a great addition to the lineup. He has lots of speed, and skill. He's the real deal. A little raw right now, but he can help this team.

I think so, too. Him and Kreider already have good chemistry. It will be fun to watch him.

If we are up, Miller can swap places with Moore, for defensive responsibility.

But he should be a big part moving forward for the remainder of the playoffs.

I think bearing any complications with the surgery Stepan plays Sunday. He played the entire rest of the game last night and I don't think the Rangers would have put him through the surgery if they didn't think he could play Sunday

I don't think Prust is a dirty player, but the play was dirty and I hope he gets at least 3 games now that the league knows Stepan's jaw is broken.

Also got to love the NHL where people bleeding, or get more seriously hurt adds to the penalties they receive.

I think both Brass and Stepan will play on Sunday.

Thinking that as well. Then we can all laugh since they thought they got their retribution meanwhile the Rangers gained a player instead of losing one. Hopefully at most he misses a game. This is the playoffs.

The last time the Rangers played a game without Derek Stepan was 4/11/2010.

The Jokinen over Gaborik shootout game against Philly.

4-6 week recovery after surgery. Surgery is still surgery. I can't imagine that this would be possible at all. Hoping that I'm wrong.

Prust should be suspended for as many games as Stepan misses! FU Prust! Good luck walking back into the Garden to watch your beloved Knicks.

Aren't there any ****ing doctors that post here? LOL, someone who knows what they're talking about when it comes to professional athletes and severity of broken jaws?

It looks like based on the past they he's gonna be unable to play. Don't know what Francessa knows but that's probably BS.

Kreider broke his jaw in college. He had surgery the following week and was back playing approx. 2 weeks post surgery. That's probably a decent guide.

Beyond the injury itself, there is also the issue of not being able to eat solid food as a pro athlete, at the end of a long season no less.

Wouldn't be so quick to say that, his sources with the Garden are pretty much as good as it gets.

I wouldn't expect to see him for the rest of this series but don't think it'll matter much, I think the Rangers are going to torch the Habs in games 4 and 5.
