Man what the hell has Manson done?
All the rookie dmen look competent. Its quite remarkable.

Great game only minor mistakes this night and offsetting good plays in each situation.

Solid solid team win. Especially tail end of a back to back.

As for our young defense there was a ton of strong indicators that our extremely strong AHL group was ready to help us in the nhl.

I really hate bringing in a negative but if this keeps going Keith is not required back. In fact I would fully expect if/when he does come back our defense instantly gets worse. Not that he has been bad but also not good and I prefer the guys we are using now.

It’s time to give Woodcroft and Manson some credit and admit Tippett wasn’t very good.

If I can admit Kane made a good play in the third, you can do this too. ;)
I feel like Tippett being fired really hurt him personally. He has been nothing but pure miserable since.

I'd give Keith a chance in this system before completely writing him off.

In fairness to him I would like to see what he looks like in this system.

Nurse Ceci
Keith Bouchard
Nemo Barrie

Is probably what I'd run when he's back.

Well thats good. We know the Oilers don't score at all in the playoffs. Drai has never looked worse than this stint under Woodcroft. Hopefully he figures it out. Almost 3 games in which he had nothing going.
His play hasn’t been good for a much longer period than since woodcroft took over.

And you don’t remember December 2019? Draisaitl was like -25 in a single month

We scored 3 goals 5v5 against a tight defensive team that gives up little. How is that “trouble scoring”.

This is a team that allows 2ga/60 5v5 which is second lost in the league and we scored 3.

I can see why they give up very little 5 v 5 against, they really clog the ice up well and are strong defensively through the middle of the ice.

That Kings team is a decent hockey team.

I dont think Broberg is quite ready. Hes been decent but I dont think hes quite there. Neimo/Lagesson should be playing though. They are both playing well. Woodcroft may just keep rolling 7 D.

I think Holland realizes he has made a lot of mistakes considering how contrite he was at his presser.

Now we just need Katz to fire him, Nicholson and Gulutzan. :sarcasm:
It might be interesting if it turns out Holland’s biggest mistake was keeping Tippett and that the roster isn’t actually half bad under decent coaching.

Imagine that, after acting like Mr. tough guy to Bouchard, he got his ass dropped when he decided to continue to chirp and did so with the wrong f***ing guy. I maybe mistaken but it looks like in the last frame where Nurse comes in he's like "ooooohhhh he got wrecked!"

The team no longer plays like a bunch of reactionary p***yes. We are out there outworking teams, not taking any shit and making life hard on the other teams. I'm f***ing loving this shit!
