Quick wasn't going to misplay the puck late in a 2-2 game handing us a big scoring chance, and the winning goal. Peterson is so bad on that play I can't do it adequate description. But again somebody explain to Quick, Kopitar, and Doughty that their friend and SC hof isn't in the net for this big game.

He gave him a shot and saw what he needed to see I guess. Let's see if Benson is back on Thursday.

Even in a boring game they outplayed the kings.

How could that be? Did the team make some change?

Honestly if the PP is the biggest issue and NOT the PK or team defense (or goaltending) or depth scoring... I take that any day... as PP is likely to come back around with the people they have out there and even if it doesn't... PP in the playoffs isn't as huge of a factor as good team D... depth scoring.... goaltending etc.

3 goals against total in 3 games is excellent.

Exceptional platoon of PKers to stuff LA who were faster and tenacious on the puck. Platoon deployment of d-corp getting it done with lots of confidence in the youngsters. Platoon pushback with players like Nemo, Nurse, Kane this team has some backbone to push back physically on teams. Nugent Hopkins a platoon guy who is stepping up big time in the 3C spot. All situational, opportunistic player.

Platoon. "I am your reality" - Evander Kane sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.

You can tell Todd wanted to win that game bad and beat Jay and the Oilers. They scouted the crap out of our PP.
