Great game. Wheelers move to 2C needs to last the season.

Imagine if Chevy and Mo moved him there last year, the deadline move for Hayes doesn’t happen, and we now have Heinola, Pionk, a 1st rounder, plus Lemieux.
Rangers wouldn't have given us 2OA in the Trouba trade, but maybe a first in this coming draft?

I don't know if it is that simple. Wheeler is much more dialed down this season. Last season's Mr. Intensity might have had the opposite effect and have Ehlers and Rosie playing more tentative rather than free and easy. Both Ehlers and Rosie have also taken steps forward in their development as players.

That game reminded me a lot of the 17-18 team, from Helle on out. Solid in so many areas, other than the 4-4 breakaway, they dominated Dallas all over the ice. 5v5, 5v4, 4v5, the Jets were the better team in every facet.
Seeing that Grey Cup inspired the boys!

Scheifele from outhouse to penthouse. From worst game of the year to one of his best. Needs to work on his finish though.

Those jerseys ......ohh those jerseys!

I've been thinking the same thing about reminding me of the 17-18 team. We went through some adversity (injuries) that year as well, and it just seems to bring them together.

That was one heck of a game to watch last night. Would love to see them figure out how to bring that every night.

Remember how everyone pissed and moaned last time he was moved? Mo was an idiot, etc... Now it's "imagine if they did it sooner?!?!" Can't win.

First of all. awesome that we just keep winning, despite that D.

Second of all, I travel alot for work from November thru March, often in unfavourable timezones - That means very little Jets:skeptic: And not alot of time on here.

Anyone know if Ehlers got injured? Played 12 minutes, least of all fwds not on the 4th line, and it was not a game spent on the PK.

His Toi is going down every game almost.
He got a slashing major when Benn tried to cut his legs off with his stick . Ehlers went right after Benn and gave Benn the stinky glove treatment . Seriously don't piss Ehlers off , he can go kookoo .

Yup, I'm happy with the way it all worked out this year. No hindsight for me, I'm just enjoying the success while it lasts.

Oh Ehlers, so close to the Gordie Howe hattrick. If only it had been a fighting major instead of slashing.

Fun, fun, fun game to watch. But I am prepared for a different game on Thursday. That Stars team was off in a big way, they are much better than that when they play well (true of any team I suppose). Heiskanen is terrifying.

Did anyone comment on the jerseys looking nice? :sarcasm:
I'm prepared too for the Jets to beat them even worster .:naughty:

He needs to figure out why he plays like that, and remember it. He was incredible last night.
Scheifele played like a top 10 center in the NHL last night and it was great to see him finally get one last night . I will say his wingers Laine and Connor also played great too so that helped , i hope we see more of that more often .

The last time I saw the Jets play that cohesively was that Nashville pounding towards the end of last season. Their support, play through the neutral zone, forecheck and transition was relentless and they pretty much kept it up the whole game. Gaps were just tremendous last night, Maurice has to be happy with that level of buy in. They were disciplined. Fun stuff.

Best game I've seen the Jets play in like 2 years.

If we played like that all the time we'd be considered a cup contender again. I'm not sure how much of it was Dallas was bad but we were flat out dominant before letting off the gas pedal a bit.
