Yeah Sammy was my first thought too. I think his ceiling is higher than Markus Niemelainen but he may never get the chance to display it here with the logjam in front of him.

The Oilers need to take some big swings in net, so maybe Parik? He seems kind of buried in LA’s system.

I'd potentially be interested in an Akil Thomas for Alex Alexeyev swap. Alexeyev was 31st overall in 2018 so same draft year as Thomas. Big LHD who can play either side.

Moore isn't going anywhere. Lizo I'd have to think about maybe making that trade. Liso is a player I look at and don't see anything really spectacular. But, then I watch how consistent he is day in, day out playing C on a bottom six line that have been responsible for putting up halfway decent numbers while playing on the grinding line. You can't help but really like this guy.

But, the Kings could use to get that left handed stick on the blue line, I'd consider making that trade. It would hurt to let Lizo go, especially since the Kings just re-signed him to a two year deal ($1.65M ave.).

Akil Thomas is at best a C level prospect with very limited NHL potential. Maybe a 4th liner when fully baked. But probably not ever going to be a full time pro. His value is almost zero.

thomas has all of six points in 31 AHL games. As a now 22 year old, not impressive in the least.

kings going to have to offer something legit. Not this.
