What a freaking ending. Spectacular episode.
World Between Worlds at the end?! Big question is how she got there (and what Anakin is doing there!) Loved the little hint of Vader's theme at the end.
Gotta think Hera and Ahsoka (whenever/however she returns to Seatos) will follow the Purrgil to follow Sabine and company.
Sabine is a bit of a tech genius too so she might be able to send them breadcrumbs.
Yup. It’s been awhile since I watched TCW but I think he even died the same way as Marrok did with a bunch of dust oozing out from him. Also the inquisitor must have had that green Nightsister magic in him, like Savage Opress in TCW
He's the most interesting character on the show for me personally.Best episode yet. Loving this series. It’s a shame the actor for Lord Baron died as he’s been the best new character imo. His scenes always have you on edge in a good way.
I think Ani pulled Ahsoka like Ezra pulled in Rebels when she was fighting Vader.Ending was dumb as hell*, but that was definitely the best episode so far. It really wanted to be Kurosawa at times, but I'm okay with that.
*It's a continuation of one of the worst elements of Rebels, the introduction of time travel to Star Wars with the "World Between Worlds."

If there's a season 2 and the character ends up surviving season 1, I do hope they recast. Will be hard to follow Ray's footsteps, but it will be better than discarding the character imo.
It's a TV streaming show. Cost to show a full fleet battle is too great. Easier to do in animation. The ship designs in this series have been great. I've been enjoying the smaller group of good guys vs bad guys dynamic so far but still hoping we get a full fleet on fleet battle nearer to the climax of the season.
Hm...Ive read a bunch of good reviews all across social media, so maybe I will check this out!
I mean, since all of season 1 was filmed before Ray's death, if the character survives the season it'd be awkward story wise just killing him offscreen if there's an the upcoming season. Unless they CGI him into the 2nd season which would honestly be off putting (and costly).I think I’d rather he just get a good death. Recasts are always weird unless it’s a side character.
Woah...
Have you seen Clone Wars/Rebels?
I thought it was clear it was a fallen Inquisitor that the Nightsister gal reanimated.Obvious Thrawn reveal. Still though really weird to put it into theatres, going to be a longer episode I guess?
I'm curious when the other 'dark' apprentice bit it and he leaked a bunch of black smoke, we don't necessarily know that these guys are dark side/sith but if thats the case is that something they do in the animated series or any of the other Disney+ ones when killed? OMy first thought seeing an unnamed mysterious guy that doesn't really talk in a helmet was 'oh that's probably Ezra'. Nothing wrong with it just seems unusual that they'd make a character like that and poof he's already dead after showing up in only a few scenes.

Oh to be clear I'm mostly a blank on Clone Wars/Rebels, so it just stood out to me as a 'Chekov's Helmet' and as I have/had no idea what actually happened to Ezra my first impression was 'hey that's probably that Ezra guy'. Like the other person replying says it can just be some generic 'inquisitor', I'm just not that familiar with them either so I wouldn't pick up on that. Then the whole plot line that allows the remnants to get to Thrawn would have been for nothing and they’d have to explain how Ezra got back to their galaxy. I think that would’ve been pretty terrible writing.
Interesting that it’ll be in some theatres. Don’t hate the idea but not for me haha. I’ll enjoy the episode from home for free.
