Hipefully it’s a physical series even if they win. Need to grind them down for Boston next round. Need more from Jeannot.
Boston looks whatever. Leafs are the best team in the conference especially when refs blows the whistle when the server the opposing team about to scoreHipefully it’s a physical series even if they win. Need to grind them down for Boston next round. Need more from Jeannot.
I could definatey see it. Boston and maybe Edmonton are the only teams I can really see stopping them after this. Grinding them down would definately help.I don't know....if they get bast the first round hump, they could go all the way. That psychological block was the biggest thing stopping them.

Impossible. Dubas is their GM and he is a NERDLeafs are built for the playoffs.
Do the Leafs really look that much better so far? At least Boston has the injuries to excuse themselves.Boston looks whatever. Leafs are the best team in the conference especially when refs blows the whistle when the server the opposing team about to score
Would make the rivalry exciting IMOI hope so. If they lift a Cup, the rest of the country will be hearing about it non-stop for decades.
He is a nerd, and the current iteration of the Leafs is clearly built against his natural inclinations. He spent years clinging to the blogger boy orthodoxy of thinking you can overwhelm your opposition with skill by putting the likes of Nic Petan and Denis Malgin on your 4th line.Impossible. Didn’t malign only ever play preseasonHe is a nerd, and the current iteration of the Leafs is clearly built against his natural inclinations. Good for him that he's grudgingly learned his lesson though. Old school eye-testers stay winning.

Exciting only leads to misery, you know this.Would make the rivalry exciting IMO
No. He played 8 games in 19-20 after Dubas traded Mason Marchment to get him. Then they brought him back this year and he played something like 20 more games before Dubas finally had to throw in the towel on him.Didn’t malign only ever play preseason
Last year he got Clifford milheyev went out and traded for muzzin years before that. Traded for lyubushkin.No. He played 8 games in 19-20 after Dubas traded Mason Marchment to get him. He wasted years of the Matthews/Marner/Nylander/Tavares/Rielly core by surrounding them with a bunch of soft as shit analytical darlings.
Trade aside, I watch Sergachev and think “yeah but we have Sanderson just wait” (evil laugh)That Drouin Sergachev trade keeps getting worse for Montreal
I watched that and think back to the weird goal on Soogard where they wouldn’t blow the whistle but everyone had stopped playing but then the puck was poked in in the confusion.Still don’t get why that goal wasn’t reviewed. Earlier in the season there was a fast whistle and the refs reviewed and saw it was never covered so they counted the goal
Thank God Boston will be next. Plan B: destroy the leafs in round 2.I don't know....if they get past the first round hump, they could go all the way. That psychological block was the biggest thing stopping them.
Not really worried about that.Trade aside, I watch Sergachev and think “yeah but we have Sanderson just wait” (evil laugh)
But not sure our duo will top Hedman and Sergachev. Maybe if Sandy keeps developmental pace and turns into the monster we think he will be, and TC becomes a number 2 that plays less but more intense.
I do not think it was egregious; it was a slight push and Point fell into the boards. I have seen far more vicious hits, many from behind (which was not the case in this hit). However, the league has been giving out penalties for many things that in the past were not considered penalties. Some of the "penalties" are given just for standing in the way of players (e.g., Gryba's hit on Eller).Wow, refs apparently unaware of what boarding is?? That's textbook boarding...
I thought it was a classic case of 2 players battling to get to the puck. One slight push at the end and one player lost his balance falling headfirst into the boards. He initiated the hit too far from the boards making it impossible for Point to protect himself, to me that's textbook boarding, that kind of play can end careers
Agree on Hedman for getting 2 Norris trophies. Karlsson should have 3 now and should be getting a 4th for his performance this past season .Not really worried about that.
I've always liked Hedman. Has 1 Norris , and imo should have another. 5 time finalist.
I'm surprised that Point was able to play after going in to the boards head first. That looked pretty nasty.A lot of guys out on some pretty questionable hits.
Vasilevsky better get his act together
