Of course Subban was perfectly OK with that interference by Rempe on the goal.

That shit at the end of the period. IDK who was starting it, if it was van Riemsdyk, or if the Rags were messing with him as he tried to leave the ice. Shit's going to get nasty in the 3rd, especially if the Rags get another goal or two.

I wonder how many fans in South Florida can actually comprehend what they are watching
I used to spend summers with my grandparents as a kid out in in Dania, FL. I was always amazed at the HUGE number of Canadian license plates and those from New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. It was almost a no brainer to expand where rich, retired Canadians and New Englanders spend their winters. My personal opinion is that the Panthers could have been one of the better attended teams in the league all this time had they actually built their arena closer to Miami or even Ft. Lauderdale. Sunrise isn't Glendale, AZ bad, but it's not far removed either.

Ovi just standing around in his spot on PP waiting to get a pass for one timer may not work in the playoffs because he’s being covered pretty well. He needs to start moving around finding other options. He literally just stood still on PPs all game

I would agree with you, but that's literally worked his whole career.

That’s true, but this is not the same Caps team from years ago when they won the cup. They barely made the playoffs, they’re slower and don’t have guys like Backstrom to pass the puck to Ovi. That’s why I’m thinking those one timers may not be there for Ovi

I honestly have no idea how the Caps made it in. I think any of the Pens, Philly or Detroit would have given them a better series.
It's crazy though because the Caps gave those teams every single chance to get in, but they were even more pathetic! What a bad playoff race lol

If I'm the coach and that's worked for 18 years, I'm gonna look for ways to get him those 1 timers before making Ovi do something different.

Those one timers worked for 18 years because Backstrom and (to a lesser extent) Kuznetsov were playing the right half wall.

Now it's Dylan Strome, who isn't very good.

How did those Canucks even get into playoffs? They had like 1 high danger opportunity against the Preds in this 1st period.
