As much as I joke about us being a lost cause and looking like this game, the Leafs deserved a bit better fate tonight.

At 5v5 they thoroughly controlled play. They hit 5 posts. They doubled Boston in scoring chances and more than doubled in high danger chances. All without Nylander.

Play like this again and they should be ok provided Samsonov holds up, which is naturally a tough ask.

Yah I was really looking forward to him and he gets injured on a nothing play during a nothing game. Its typical Ambulanche shit. I even called it before the game that one of these dodo's was going to get injured. I figure it be Makar but it ended up being Drouin.

Leafs have only won once in Boston in the last 5 years? If they come out of this series they might go on a run just off the confidence boost of getting the monkey off their back (like when the Canucks finally beat the Hawks)

I'll go with Panthers, Rangers, Jets, and Canucks today. No upsets and home domination continues. I think NYR beats the tarp off of Washington today.

My predictions for tonight. Panthers lightning is hopefully gonna be great. Agree on the rangers, Avs win on a good team game, and Nucks will be a little too jittery in their first game.

I’ll likely get every one wrong now.

I really hope cooper goes on to star in a Garfield movie after he retires. He’s spot on for John.
 
Bolts finding their groove a bit, feel bad for bob on that goal. Good effort on the goal and almost got a piece.
