*They* called Barkov the best player in the world after three games in this series. Above McDavid. Above MacKinnon. Above Makar. That really happened.

Florida sure could use him right about now. Don't care about the defense or xGF%. Time to actually produce when your team is reeling.

I apologize to the Oilers in advance for the jinx.

Is this bad?

Edmonton was always the faster team, but they ain't beating Florida based on that. The Panthers look mentally slow, slow in everything especially in decision-making with the puck.

Florida had 3-4 shifts of great forechequing, but no shots came from them.

Panthers are scared of their own shadows out there. You would think a team that has the kind of deep playoff experience they gained last year would know how to handle pressure.

I feel pretty confident saying the East is pretty overrated at this point. Even if Florida wins this game. Edmonton has been the better team.

They need some profanity right now, Maurice looks like he took a bribe from the Katz at this point. Just sitting back there and doing nothing.

Nah, Florida went through the gauntlet and the Oilers played teams that are either trash (Kings) or had major injuries (Demko) or tired themselves out (Stars/Panthers).

Tkachuk looks horrible, he's either playing injured or is an immensely super overrated player.
I mentioned it last game. When he starts the extra after-the-whistle shit he becomes highly ineffective. It's all he starts worrying about and he obsesses over it.

Just play the damn game. How f***ing furious do you think Paul Maurice is seeing Tkachuk take a coincidental with f***ing Janmark.

The last four cup winners have featured one home grown high pick as the anchor to the defense but built around that D with good trades.

The last 3 cup winners have had very mediocre goaltending but lots of highly touted forwards.

Perhaps we'll see a change in philosophy when it comes to drafting defense. Draft high or else trade for a Theodore or Toews or Ceci or Ekholm.

More players should fall over themselves and "unintentionally" trip McDavid when he gets going like that. One of the better plays the Panthers have made on him this series.

Florida’s last game against an EC opponent was on JUN/01, they have had a huge amount of time to rest and came into the series relatively healthy (for what is public knowledge anyways).

They aren’t playing poorly because of being tired they are playing poorly because the Oilers are genuinely good. I don’t understand the narrative that they aren’t a great team, they are easily the best team the Panthers have played

To be fair the Stars were tired injured and trash. Same with the Canucks.
