I predicted the Wild to beat St. Louis and then be knocked out by the Hawks, who I picked for Stanley Cup Champions, so I hope that what you say comes true.

Our brackets must be pretty close then...I have Hawks over Rangers in the Final. Right now I'd sign for that no problem.

I do worry about the Wild playing spoiler against more than just the Blues though, they ARE actually good this year.

Good let 'em play the Blackhawks again. The Hawks are my real hope out West anyway.

I think Kane being out for so long was a blessing in disguise. He's fresh and well-rested.

And if Darling falters, they can just go back to Crawford who has history on his side.

I trust Coach Q to make the right calls. I wasn't mega high on him despite his success for the longest time, but now I'm finally realizing he belongs in Babcock Tier. Guy just gets it.

Yeah, they sound pretty close. I have Tampa in the Final, though, after taking out the Rangers in the ECF. I hope Tampa doesn't disappoint. They could go either way, honestly.

I have Hawks over Tampa. Hopefully last night woke the Bolts up because the Habs will be there for the taking and if it's Ottawa they should have an even easier 2nd round then the Rags.

Also since it looks like it will be the Caps. The caps seem ready to just hit and hurt everyone they see. Definitely could slow that series up and force it to go long.

I have CHI/TBL as the final.

CHI over ANA in the WCF. TBL over NYR in the ECF, but that is is wishful thinking on my part.

Have CHI as Cup winners.

You thought the penalties were lopsided in the Pit series? If it's Washington the rags will literally play the entire series on the powerplay.

Last night could be good for Tampa if it teaches them to be resilient, which was a question mark I had about them. It would be nice if Stamkos woke up sometime soon. Maybe he can chip in with a goal tomorrow in Tampa.

I'd be happy if the Caps beat up on the Rangers, just hitting hard for that whole series, since that's probably what the second round match-up will be in the Metropolitan.

Chicago isn't gonna have enough gas left in the tank to beat the Rangers if they get to the finals. Anaheim is probably your best bet since they could be well rested.

Isles have nothing left so pretty sure it would be the Caps. Best if they finish it ASAP.

Caps COULD get the upset, but doubtful. They can make it a series though and wear down the Rags with physical play (and I imagine they would like to finally get the Rags monkey off their backs).

Stamkos has time to get going, especially if they get past Detroit, and it seems others are starting to wake up and it seems they might of finally solved Mzarak.

They have all the talent and honestly the Habs look like **** right now, and Ottawa is going to be REALLY gassed.

This does worry me, Nashville is playing them tough and they'll likely have to solve the Wild next.

But, if LA can go to Game 7 three times and win the Cup like they did last year, Chicago can do the same.

I hope that the Caps can seal the series tomorrow. That would be the best for my bracket, and I'd rather not see that series go to seven, because I'd like the Caps to be as rested as possible to play against the Rangers.

Tampa is in a good spot because they have a lot of offense to carry them if Stamkos doesn't get going, and it does look like Tampa has started to figure out Mzarak, and Mzarak is going to have to deal with losing that game in Detroit in about a five minute span.

The Habs don't look that great, and I feel like Tampa always is extra motivated playing them after the sweep last year. If Ottawa beats the Habs in seven, I just think they'll be too tired from their historic run to really put up that strong a fight.

Agree. Chicago has shown they can be resilient and they know how to win. This also is probably their last year to make a Cup run with their core largely intact, so I think they'll be motivated to get it done. I think Chicago can definitely beat the Rangers, especially if the Rangers continue to play like hot trash.

Their going at least 6 with Nashville, I would imagine at least 6 against Minnesota or St. Louis, and a WCF matchup with Anaheim would be another long series. Combine that with all the hockey they've played over the past few years and I wouldn't be surprised if they got to the finals and then totally flatlined against the Rangers.

Anaheim has the easiest path. I think they'll beat Calgary or Vancouver pretty easily and would be well rested again for the WCF. If they get through that then I think their the clear favorites.

The name ''Cooke'' with an E at the end already annoys me enough.

Nevermind that Cooke is a POS to begin with.

No offense if any of you have the last name CookE. It just makes me wanna pronounce it like Cookie.

Brian Elliott in next game?

At least Allen isn't stealing the series for the Wild like Miller did for Chicago last year.

He hasn't been any worse than Brian ''Hitchproduct'' Elliott in his two playoffs.

In before Elliott starts game 6 and allows one goal and the expert analysts are saying he too is elite.

Meh, we could do worse I guess. I'm not crazy about these recycled coaches though. Seems like they all have a certain ceiling and will never get over the hump. I'd rather go for someone younger.

While I'm really not a fan of Hitch, I think we should worry about getting to the hump before we worry about getting over it.
