The amount of momentum swings and possibility of the back and forth in the Anaheim/Calgary series has the potential to be very insane.

Two teams that have a ridiculously high shooting percentage and 3rd period goal differentials.

The swings and scoring changes in this series will have nothing on that.

Thanks for reminding me that Perron is even on their team.

I keep forgetting they even acquired him. Shows what he's done in this series. I think I noticed Comeau and Hornqvist more than any of Malkin and Perron. Crosby had one breakout game, then he went back to his Summer break. There's another pretty good pick to the Oilers too.

And the Ducks tie it up, right on cue.

I'm hoping they bottom out next season, miss the playoffs and Crosby asks for a trade.

That's true.

But I really think Boston would have given them a better fight than this.

Florida may have even given them a better fight, not even kidding at all.

Almost any team but the Penguins would have put up a better fight.

Vancouver in games 1 & 2 (until the last 2 minute melt down)

But Pitt hasn't really been a lively crowd since that live trainwreck happened in 2012.

Boston needed a W in their last game coupled with a Pitt loss, got a SOL. So nope.

We really needed a truly dominating team to buzzsaw their way through the playoffs. I don't care about the Wild anymore, but if a team like the Lightning goes out in the 1st round... we're not left with much tolerable hockey to watch, coupled with just some awful fans to cope with as well.
