As i said on the main boards, nobody should be making judgments based on these fake playoffs.
Yes, i still consider them fake and just a bloody tournament.
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Blues come back with a vengeance next season when we have a normal season with a normal playoffs.
Think they have to wait until after 3rd period. Not that you can tell the difference tonight.
Being bleak isn't for the meek. This is an extremely bleak outlook
I can't fathom this could be Petro's last game. I've made peace with it.I’m just in “Enjoy watching Petro in case it’s his last game as a Blue” mode

So sayeth a geek.
Petro looks like a low end #1 and Parayko a #3 to me in this series.Last year Parayko and Petro both looked like #1 Ds. This year both look like #2.
There's zero reason for Petro to stay here. We're in cap trouble if we sign him, and there's nothing promising coming out of this. We're probably looking at status quo for next season and a pretty sizable retool in 21-22 once some of these contracts come off.
covid cup is a joke but i think what we saw from dunn is pretty much the norm for him. hes a liability back there and it shows.Let’s not make any rash decisions on players on basis of this weird postseason. Need to rely on what we saw in regular season and last year playoffs.
I didn’t mean #2D. I meant #2.Petro looks like a low end #1 and Parayko a #3 to me in this series.
Seriously wtf! I know St. Louis brings top ratings compared to most teams and they have all of the games besides 1 ending around 12:30-1amOne last thing before I go to bed....
f*** the nhl and their ridiculous start times
I'm trying not to think about it, honestly.
He was sheltered for a reason.covid cup is a joke but i think what we saw from dunn is pretty much the norm for him. hes a liability back there and it shows.
My apologies. I misread your post. I thought you said you hoped it was Pietrangelo's last game as a Blue.I'm not sure what you mean simon?
I agree. As much as i like Petro i haven't been impressed with him.It is what it is.
He hasn't impressed me this whole tourney.
I can’t fault Berube for going with Binnington. I would have done the same. But we didn’t get a sharp Binnington. I have to wonder, if they trade Allen, will the Blues wind up with a starting goalie problem again. This is a pretty big time to repeatedly lay an egg.
On the other side, full credit to Markstrom. Of all the Canuck players, he’s the guy I’m most impressed with in the series.
Good for Vancouver. I’m sure it’s a thrill to make some noise in the postseason after so long. But this is the story of a St Louis team that showed up in the bubble and never got it together. It was evident from going 0-4 prior to the series. I expect Vancouver’s lineup will suddenly look a lot more flawed against Vegas. And if St Louis had made it past, they’d have been overmatched too.
imo sports in general suck without the fan interactions in the stands .. why bother .... f*** the covid cupHahaha
Dec/Jan can't come soon enough.
I don't think they know the actual start date yet.
They really need to get fans in the arenas. Even if you force folks to sit 2-3 empty seats apart.
