We don't have the assets for the #1 overall. Complete pipedream.Dunn + our 1st + what else to the Rangers for #1 OA?
well they are both a joke. the whole process of coming back was a dumb gimmick just to fulfill TV contracts and generate revenue by having extra games.I don’t know what’s worse. Losing to Canucks or the covid excuses.
spot on ...well they are both a joke. the whole process of coming back was a dumb gimmick just to fulfill TV contracts and generate revenue by having extra games.
they should have had the top 8 play at the spots they had at the pause if they wanted to come back this year. honestly, a 5 or 6 month pause then going right into the postseason is stupid as f*** and its why the winner of the covid cup wont be taken seriously at all.

agreedcovid break screwed things up but we should be better than this
Completely agreed. Good post.I can’t fault Berube for going with Binnington. I would have done the same. But we didn’t get a sharp Binnington. I have to wonder, if they trade Allen, will the Blues wind up with a starting goalie problem again. This is a pretty big time to repeatedly lay an egg.
On the other side, full credit to Markstrom. Of all the Canuck players, he’s the guy I’m most impressed with in the series.
Good for Vancouver. I’m sure it’s a thrill to make some noise in the postseason after so long. But this is the story of a St Louis team that showed up in the bubble and never got it together. It was evident from going 0-4 prior to the series. I expect Vancouver’s lineup will suddenly look a lot more flawed against Vegas. And if St Louis had made it past, they’d have been overmatched too.
Ding ding ding. The goalies can only do so much when the Blues play like garbage in front of them. Same thing happened in front of Halak, Elliott, Hutton, and Miller.Blues playing in front of binny like they did in front of Allen at the beginning of the season last year.
neither 1 of these teams is playing like a contender. vegas and avs are the class of the west in the bubble and its not even close. nobody in the east outside of the isles is close either.I can’t fault Berube for going with Binnington. We don't tho?
