I hope this isn't just a hot streak for Gaborik. It would be nice to see a top player score consistently. Even strength play seems to be improving, unfortunately the entire period was filled with penalties from both sides.

If anything, Doughty and Muzzin's play has been worse than Greene and McNabb for most of the season. The Kings top pairing is just playing too much.

I agree on both counts. But they are playing so much because the Kings defensive depth is pretty weak and these guys are going to get exploited especially against good teams so DS keeps playing DD and Muzzin so much.

Dean should have given Mitchell the 2 year deal, it's becoming more apparent with each passing game, Mitchell was so good and his presence is so missed, especially on the PK.

The first period was all about special teams. The Blue were much better, especially on the first two kills.

We still can't get any sustained pressure, they keep dumping it in, and give it right back.

Marty breaks the puck out most of the time on his own! Makes better first passes than a lot of the Kings D now.

Funny to see a team using wrist shots from the point that get through. That never works.

Blues first two were wristers to area that allowed tip. Second one was actually a pass. Same idea though.
