I’m hoping we could work out a deal that if you guys trade Noel Nordh to like Saginaw or Kitchener, we could trade you guys Gleb Semenov, Bidgood and picks.

Discussed on the London board, but what would hounds fans want in return for Gibson?

London is loaded with prospects but our 08 is non-negotiable.

If hawery is off the table, Noah Reed would have to be on the table as he's your only 07 lol. but being a 10th rounder, it'd have to involve some picks as well. and if Gibby makes WJC, then that would add another pick or two. if Hawery was included, maybe less picks. I see Gibson as a Jorian Donovan type pickup. Great defensively, pretty good offensively with a cannon of a shot, but huge and very fast. plus he's a righty, which is a hot commodity.

i'd start at
- Read
- 2nd '25
- 2nd '26 NB
- 3rd '25 SAR
- 3rd '26 FLNT
- 4th '27 ERIE

If Hawery is on the table, i'd drop one of the 2nds, and the 4th.

I'm hesistant to trade with London because they're too cheap. great for knights fans, bad for their trading partners

personally i'd like to see a high ceiling '07 and picks for Gibson.

in fact, because it's the knights it will cost you an extra 2nd more than anyone else

i think a mutual trade would work well for both...i'm not sure either can be duped haha. i think it could be one of those rare instances where both teams come out ahead.

Softer than baby shiet. No wonder I rarely go to games, refs are atrocious and the league has zero clue how to discipline people. Mennonite ? 5 games. Hit 1.5 seconds after play? 3 games. You see more malicious plays on a nightly basis. Also as a development league.. maybe get them ready for the next level? Just an idea.

I still feel that Soo is targeting Tyler Hopkins in some form. I know the 08 is kind of like “ automatic” but I think Soo would accept a very good 07 and picks as well. I know that Kingston fans will say that it’s not ideal, or Fronts won’t want to move him BUT when there’s a bidding war your position changes.

I legit wouldn’t be surprised if Soo wants to bring in Brayden Valleries brother on the point too. Could Soo move Gibson/Mignosa? Could Kingston upgrade Lalonde and the two best friends that anyone could ever want in Gibson/Charlie head to Kingston? Im not saying this is what the end deal will be but I wouldn’t be surprised if Hopkins is a Hound.

Just a gut feeling, I guess.

He’s a repeat offender too. Makes some really terrible decisions sometimes. Really unnecessary hit. Hopefully for the Soo’s short bench sake he’s not charged with additional discipline

I would want to keep Mignosa for next year.. If it’s his intention to return for an OA year but that’s just imo. More picks and capital isn’t a bad thing either.

I think it would take an inverse all-in push to make Kingston consider trading Hopkins.
Maybe Allard, Gibson, choice of Cloutier or Mignosa in exchange for Heyes, Hopkins, Vellaris, plus conditional picks on OA season of the SSM forward.

Charlie , Gibson, Allard are all going. These three alone will bring us so much that IF the Soo was to trade anyone else, I think they would have to get an overpayment to move them. Like Cloutier or Mignosa.

I can see Noel Nordh actually staying.

Depending who the Soo brings in.. this team remains competitive if Miller continues to play the way he does.

Totally speculation but I wondered if the team might send Allard and Nordh somewhere together. Tough to get full value for an OA and an import so it's a longshot but it's something's I could see Utah lobbying for!

I really hope Raftis does the right thing this year and moves players for young players and picks. I can accept a dismal second half with a push for the future. As many have said,, build up for a run with the 07 group.

Players that I would consider moving:
Gibby
Charlie
Owen
Nordh - hard to move an import at the dealine however - need to find the right fit.
Browner - if Kyle can find a dance partner. He couldn't last year at this time.

Time will tell.
