The new GM will but in place their head coach, head coach will select his assistant staff. Of course, the coaching staff is unhappy, they know they are all gone (As they should be).

Shanahan is cleaning house. Looks like there was some issues between him and the staff and that’s good news as he realizes the team was built wrong. Start moving players and contracts and bring in competent people who use logic over stats and spreadsheets.

He may not have liked what he saw in terms of the internal dynamics in the front office. He was closer to Dubas' - if he and Shanny had a falling out it's probably not surprising he took one side over the other.
