Hajek has to clear waivers, but I'd guess we could get a late round pick for him. Maybe even as high as a 4th.

Schneider will be in the AHL eligible and should start out getting top4 minutes there.

Robertson will be in the AHL, I believe. I'd suspect that Tinordi is kept on as an extra D, and either Jones or Lundkvist gets a bottom pair spot, with the other being on Hartford's top pair. Jones isn't an RD, which is the spot available, but Gallant is on record as not caring about that, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Hunt and Gauthier will probably start on the roster, and Cuylle has to return to juniors unfortunately. Pajuniemi will hopefully be a top6 player in Hartford.

And I think Barron gets sent down to play top line minutes, but I may not be in the concensus there.

Thank you very much, I hope Nils makes it, would be awesome opening night to have our 3 2018 1st rd picks(Krav, K'Andre, Nils), 2019 1st(Kakko), and 2020 top pick(Lafreneiere) in the lineup.

How have the new guys looked? Goodrow, Revaes, Blais, Nemeth, etc....

Tbh I’ve been taking about how Chytil could benefit tremendously playing with Goodrow. To learn to play like him…. The same logic applies to kreider. Get him back to being a bull

this is the peak composition. That 3rd line would be a nightmare for 3rd pairing defenseman

Goodrow only played a few minutes before getting ejected, and I'd be lying if I said Nemeth left an impression on me (not necessarily a bad thing).

But Blais and Reaves are as advertised. Heavy game, know their roles, definitely an improvement on what our last line has been for a while. Hunt also was a rare bright spot in our first pre-season game; another strong performance from him and it will be a tough decision for Gallant.

I mean chytil's game isnt really anywhere similar to goodrow. Chytil to me is more mika than anything. Work on his shot from a little further out/one timer.

He has the skillset to excel in that style. That's always been the point. A power center/forward with skill.

I mean why is that a yikes?
We know exactly who both of them are. We want to give guys a shot to make the team, but we're not rebuilding.
Theres alot of love for kinkaid because he played big in a couple games when we had injury issues but he's basically a AAAA goalie, too good for the ahl but not good enough for regular nhl action.

You figure of those eight names, no more than five make the team. For every skater on an ELC that makes the team, expose one more.
So there's some NHL experience that will get exposed, but it's to your taste whether any of them are worth it....

For Ronning at this stage of his career... no bueno. As for Kinkaid, its only about love lol

i think it could be ok
Quinn is gone, Gorts is gone - Howden is gone
The Rebuild brand is being phased out
we've all seen/heard the comments about Gallant's approach, and team feel, contrasted to prior situations

Lias is probably a better NHL C today than Barron or Richards are as of today
(and i am a fan of both)

I'm a bit sad i missed the alcohol conversation, so im gonna hop in late & say i managed to snag a Hibiki 21 today at only 400 (compared to the 1k+ it usually goes for)
