Was there a Russian player playing?

Chytil would have spent 2 years in the Czech league to develop into wjat he is today.

A player capable of 40 points with potential for more.

Nothing about who he is today would be different.

He'd have more ELC years for us, but beyond that sure.

I will miss Buchnevich, sure, but I've seen so many players I like come and go over the years. And honestly prior to this past season I found him kind of frustrating.

It will be weird seeing him in a Blues sweater, but that you usually get over after a couple games.

So apparently Pagnotta went on NHLN and said Arizona is listening on Chychrun and the price includes 2 1sts.

Craig Morgan however says it’s not true.

I saw my beloved Brian Leetch wear a Leafs and Bruins uniform. My NFL idol, Thurman Thomas wore a Dolphins uniform.

I no longer feel any pain. Im just an empty soul full of numbness.

This is what Machinehead must have felt like in previous years.

I hope nobody is surprised when we start the season as we are.

I don’t think anyone knows how the line up is going to shake out. I do think we are done making trades for at least the 1st quarter of the season, unless a deal comes across Drurys desk that’s too good to be true. As it sits now, we are going to have at least 1 fwd who sits/ or plays sporadically. And perhaps Barron, who may be good enough to be on the big club right now after camp, have to go back to the A because of the log jam in the top 9
LaF-Zibby- Kakko/Kravtsov/Blais
Panarin-Strome-Kakko/Kravtsov/Blais
Kreider-Chytil-Goodrow
Hunt-Rooney-Reaves/Richards??

and that’s projecting Barron goes back to the A, which is not a given at this point and Gauthier probably waived.
I doubt Gallant plans to play Blais on 4th line, but he may have to, Just to bump Hunt out and have enough spots.
Who do you think sits? And what line up do you think the Rangers have coming out of camp??
As it stand now, we are already going to be forced to play someone on 4th line that we want in the top 9. Either that or somebody will be sitting in the press box.

I know we need more Dmen like we need a hole in our heads but if Chychrun was truly available I'm working to make that happen.
Yzerman should have thought it out before he threw his tantrum and used his influence to change the lottery rules.
Arizona is aiming for Shane Wright and Connor Bedard and there dismantling their club because the odds are in their favor.

Going to make a prediction: if we have an 82 game season and if Blais stays healthy for most of it, he’s still not playing 60 games.

I am forecasting a Goodrow, Blais, Reeves/Hunt line, for whatever that’s worth. It’s probably a “fourth” line but I think they’ll be used just as much at a “third” line. This will be Gallant’s soften-them-up line.

I foresee a Panarin-Strome-Goodrow line. Goodrow plays the Fast role doing the dirty work and deepens the lineup.

Blais is basically a slightly better version of Brendan Lemieux.

I guess it depends on what you mean by slightly. Lemieux is barely an NHL caliber 4th liner. Blais is a competent 3rd line winger IMO, although it’s very possible he’s a 4th liner most nights here. I think he’s clearly better than Lemieux and I think the Rangers clearly targeted him. If given the ice time, he should be very capable of 30+ points looking at his numbers the last two seasons. Lemieux isn’t touching that.

My guess is either:
Panarin-Ziba-Laf
Goodrow-Strome-Kakko
Kreider-Chytil-Kravy
Blais-Rooney-Reeves

or

Laf-Ziba-Kakko
Panarin-Chytil-Strome
Kreider-Goodrow-Blais
Hunt-Rooney-Reeves
(No Kravy!??)

or

Kravy-Ziba-Kakko
Panarin-Strome-Laf
Kreider-Chytil-Blais
Goodrow-Rooney-Reeves

It feels like I could go on forever. Kreider on the right?

Three lines I really think would mesh well are Kravy-Ziba-Kakko, Kreider-Chytil-Kravy and Kreider-Goodrow-Blais. I am also not against playing Strome at RW with Panarin and Chytil at center. I like that line too, Panarin-Chytil-Strome.

So three lines I would like are:
Kravy-Ziba-Kakko
Panarin-Chytil-Strome
Kreider-Goodrow-Blais

But that leaves Laf out of the top 9 and that don't work eihter. I have no combo on which I feel everyone fits well and all lines are well built...

Blais is a 4th liner on a contender IMO

Lafreniere - Zibanejad - Kravtsov/Goodrow
Panarin - Strome - Kakko
Kreider - Chytil - Goodrow/Kravtsov
Reaves - Rooney - Blais

13th forward, Gauthier or Barron

Think they brought Blais and Goodrow in to be the “ dirty work” guys to play with 2 more talented players.
Each of them will be placed on a line with 2 guys that kind of play a different style and they lack that 3rd component. A guy that will win puck battles, Hit, and forecheck.
I think if Panarin-Strome is the line going fwd out of camp, which is likely, 1 of Goodrow/Blais are going to be the RW

Blais is 4th on the depth chart at LW on our team. Unless there are injuries, I don't expect him to get considerable 3rd line minutes at ES. He might pump up those numbers on the PK though.
