Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I think people here (not pretending I'm not one of them) just want change for changes sake sometimes and would like to see something like Strome --> Dvorak even while that makes zero sense.

Still feel Arizona could have extracted a bit more from Montreal since montreal was in super desperate zone wifh MB in charge and needing to make the playoffs this coming season.

Looks pretty risky wording for Arizona. If any of CAR/MTL goes far and the other has top 10 pick, the return for ARI will be underwhelming (late 1st nad a 2024 2nd)
I think next year its gonna be their aging slow defense and aging goalie that will be their achilles. I know weird since we have been used to seeing them struggle offensively to score.
They should be a bit better at putting the puck in the net with Caufield and Hoffman for a full year.

why do they “need” to make the playoffs? They weren’t even expected to last year in what I was told is a weak division and they lost weber and Danault. Seems unlikely that they make the playoffs
The GM. Has been there quite a while and no way was he going into next season with basically Suzuki at center. The pressure on MB in that market would be astounding especially after making the finals last season. He probably wouldn't survive if the Habs miss the playoffs next year. He was desperate to find a center and quick. Not to even mention he was the one that selected yet another top 3 pick that failed (yes he should have taken Brady T). He needed to find a quick replacement and pray Dvorak can do well at 2C
