a coach can only scream at their players for so long, but who knows. I their lack of scoring doesnt have anything to do with him, more like how the team lacks high end offence.

Lou has a history of a quick trigger when it comes to sacking coaches.

Coaches should never get too comfortable with him at the helm.

I don’t think Roy is a particular spectacular coach. But if you own the Islanders, I have no idea how you don’t fire the 100 year old dinosaur who the game has past him by

What is Roy considered? Don't know much about him

a players coach
or
A system's coach/old school
More the latter I would say. He's very demanding for what it is or isn't worth with today's millionaire athletes. He holds players accountable and has a winning pedigree

The team seemed excited to play for him when he got there last season. I suspect as the malaise continues this season, it won't be long before we hear the same bullshit we heard before they hired Handsome Lane Lambert. "Barry, er Lane ,now Patrick lost the room"

Losing Duclair hurts but tonight, Elvis lost his stick 3 times and the Isles couldn't score. It's not a coaching issue

Lou put his eggs all in with Barzal, who is on his way to solidifying his reputation as hockey's Carmelo Anthony.

A coach killer

It’s amazing you think that’s the problem when there is next to zero other talent on the team.

You should know the fundamental differences between these two sports, I can’t even begin to explain how wrong this is.
