I think it's been reported the game has serious CPU issues when Digital Foundry did a deep dive on it. So, no idea what you are running in that regard, but I think the PS5 has a custom CPU that is comparable to a 3700x. But, yes they should be able to figure out a way around it, as a PS5 is way more easy to optimize than the 10,000 computer configurations out there that can play this game. They REALLY need to do something about getting a 60 fps mode on ps5 for Gotham Knights. I could get pretty close to a locked 60 fps on my gtx 1080, theres no reason it shouldnt have a 60 mode on console. I cant even consider buying it without that regardless of the sale.
Ive got a ryzen 3600 so a worse CPU. Riding Nightwings batbike in the opening sees some hard dips to 30 but for the most part its around the high 40s to low 50s on my old PC, and all the cutscenes are a locked 60. Theres no reason it shouldnt have a 60 fps mode on console, even if it dips.I think it's been reported the game has serious CPU issues when Digital Foundry did a deep dive on it. Oh, it is not acceptable, the game should be optimized for the PS5 and Series X to handle it at 1080p/60. But, it sounds like the game was terribly designed on the CPU load it creates. Hopefully, this gen we don't see too much of locked 30 fps on next-gen exclusives at 1080p, because this and Plague's Tale: Requim would be the start of an alarming trend.Ive got a ryzen 3600 so a worse CPU. PS5 has an insane # of deals right now on the PS Store. Check them out. Everything from NHL to Miles Morales is on sale
I just got a pair for Christmas and really like them. I don’t see how they would fall apart like dolemite mentioned? Not unless you are just ripping them off your head and tossing them around?Pulse 3D wireless headset is down to $99.99. Worth it? I’m still using a wired amazon headset that cost me like $30, so I imagine this would be a noticeable upgrade.
Thoughts from those who have one?
I have one and I've only used it once. You're not missing anything. Finally got my hands on one. Though I wish it was the disk version. Beggars cant be choosers I guess.
I use the disc drive all the time. It depends on what type of gamer you are. I know people that wouldn’t play a disc game if you gave it to them for free.I have one and I've only used it once. You're not missing anything.
I prefer discs. it may just be hoarding but I like owning them and lending them or borrowing from friends. I also have a big blu-ray collection, and have added a couple 4K blu-rays. So, as my primary DVD player its very useful.I use the disc drive all the time. It depends on what type of gamer you are. I know people that wouldn’t play a disc game if you gave it to them for free.
That's fair. I stopped using discs when they stopped putting the actual full game on it.I use the disc drive all the time. It depends on what type of gamer you are. I know people that wouldn’t play a disc game if you gave it to them for free.
You can still resell the game. Made back a fair amount of money that way. I don't mind buying digital but you often get better deals with physical copies in store which is pretty stupid. That's fair. I stopped using discs when they stopped putting the actual full game on it.
You’d be surprised, most games on PlayStation still have the full game on it. People get confused because games have a day one patch but most games play fine without the day one patch. That's fair. I stopped using discs when they stopped putting the actual full game on it.
Agree, I think i did buy a couple games on disc and have borrowed some games early on, but lately its so much easier to just go on the PS store (where there are usually good deals also) and just buy the game instantly vs going into an actual physical store or waiting for amazon to ship itI have one and I've only used it once. I totally forgot about that. I recently re- watched last blood on 4K bluray and it looked flawless. It’s also nice to be able to 1.5x a movie with the audio left on.I admit I have bought fewer hard copy games in recent years, but I still liked to have the versatility. The primary use for the disk drive is to watch movies more than anything.
