Maragos, a former Eagle just sued Rothman orthopedics for f***ing up. The Flyers also use Rothman orthopedics, so Coots and Farabee.......

Ive been going to Rothman for the past year trying to sort out the root of my back, abdominal, sciatic, and pelvic pain that all started at the same time. Had CT Scan, MRI, Physical Therapy, Inversion Therapy, and Cortisone without ever really getting an answer or full relief. I kid you not that it wasnt until the Flyers announced Ellis had Iliopsoas Syndrome that I got curious, looked into what that was, realized I had the symptoms, and started to do to stretches targetting that muscle (along with changing habits like sitting too much at work) that I got relief. So basically I figured it out on my own finally. Thanks Rothman!

I am not trying to be a know it all, but I would have suggested that. Looking at your psoas and iliacus.

Sitting at a desk for 8 hours is so terrible for your physical health. There is a guy named Kelly Starrett, he runs a program called The Ready State. He's a PhD, so he's legit. He has videos on YouTube that you can look into.

When I was heavy into training I used his videos and website for mobility exercises.

Also there is a tool called the pso rite, that might be worth looking into.

Wish I talked to you about this a year ago lol

Thanks for the info nonetheless!

As for work, ever since I started alternating between sitting and standing, combined with stretching, im doing much better. I think my psoas got so tight that it was both pulling on my back and compressing both my sciatic nerve and genitofemoral nerve. Ryan Ellis diagnosis going public legit saved me lol. Thanks Chuck!

when i hear someone being compared to 'the poor man's version of' that's how i know they're making shit up. there's plenty of people and resources who give better analysis than that.

If Desnoyers was a 50-60 point upside player, it’s one thing. That’s a poor man’s Pavelski/Point.

Not a likely 4th liner with a vanilla skill set. Makes you look like a moron for even making such a comparison.

Along with what VladDrag said here are a few other suggestion

In general PAILS and RAILS and a consistent CARS routine are all super helpful for getting back a lot of lost mobility in your hips/pelvis/back.
