I know very few here are watching, but Ristolainen has been playing good hockey.

And we've all seen the premium for big RHD around the league.

Add this years 1st and MAYBE they could move him to Arizona, but still doubtful.

Only way he gets moved in the first 3 years if he has a major injury and goes into LTIR-etirement. Then maybe a team looking to hit the floor might take him at a not-too-painful price...or a team might want to pull a Tampa Bay and acquire his contract to give them more LTIR to add players at the deadline.

You know what, though? I do think we could move Risto, but it would have to be at the deadline. Don't get me wrong - we shouldn't be able to, obviously - but just never, ever underestimate the stupidity and desperation of NHL GMs, especially at the deadline. We may have to eat his whole salary, but I bet we could move him. The problem is, of course, that we have the very worst of the NHL GMs, the c***.
