He’s had like 9 seasons to improve this part of his game lol. Clearly, it’s not a priority for him. If it was, he’d have remedied it LONG ago.

In Ristolainen's defense, it was unfair to judge him based on his pre-Philly career because he played on a horrible bottom-dwelling Buffalo team.

Then - in a surprising turn of events that is certainly an unrelated phenomena - he comes here and Philly becomes a horrible bottom-dweller too.

My worry is that Torts is going to focus too hard on offense and neglect the defensive side of the game.

That skill stuff is entertaining but I just don’t know if it’s good for the game of hockey.
