this needs to be posted here too, for safe keeping.

This dishonest rat would have had a meltdown if someone (like @AdamParrot ) used a 3 game sample to show one of the vets were bad.

But no, it must be bias because only Charlie is objective. Unlike us stupid fans

Charlie is on his best behavior. He got an interview with Keith Jones and Hilferty the other day.

It’s not an unfounded bias coloring our view. It’s his terrible play that caused the consternation. Someone needs to “explain it all to the geek(s).” What a punk.

Maybe it’s the fact that the Flyers beat a team where they out shot them 23-3 in a period

When using data, Charlie consistently likes going from Point A to Point C (or is it C to A?) to make a declarative statement and not wondering if there’s even a Point B. Nothing he points to is factually untrue. It’s just (perhaps!) factually incomplete or misleading. And did we even have to get to Point C? Doesn’t matter! This is Point C. He’s a bit quick in ascribing majority blame to players. But the Flyers are a case study in having your doubts.

He also has a knack for being very intractable with his opinions. He hangs on for dear life. That’s not even entirely a stats comment.
