Spontaneous fighting out of genuine emotion is fine. Like when Simmonds used to fight, this was usually the case. Plus he was a beast and actually played hockey when not fighting.
Staged fights are worthless dogshit. Like when MacEwens stupid ass thinks “it’s my job to change the momentum” then goes out and politely asks someone to fight, until they fall down and give each other a pat on the back.

Because, like all braindead cliché hoarders, DiMarco thinks that defense is the most important and noble thing in hockey. Meanwhile, if it was inverted and the guy was mediocre but kinda passible in the offensive zone and league-worst at everything else, they'd be calling him a horrible liability.

Oh, the record was good for sure. I remember Yandle going on a good run of points early on and even personally being a bit surprised. But the on-ice visual product and underlying numbers were putrid. Apart from the Seattle blowout game really where crackhead Thompson beat the shit out of the guy who robbed his drugs in the parking lot before the game.
That’s what is amusing.. well that and it was literally like game 2. Still plenty could have changed (and it absolutely did), for the worse in terms of shooting percentage, etc.
But here’s another one to gawk at! That’s right Anthony, we should only play the worst players in the league, Thompson, MacEwan, Brown as our 4th line instead of actual skill.
