I remember Wenger being not particularly happy about the press photos that showed Wilshere smoking. But I don't remember Wilshere known for a bad attitude while at Arsenal. Always seemed like professional and a likeable guy to me. Did some charity work too. He's a youth coach now for the team actually and he seems really invested which is nice to see.
Don't get me wrong, I believe you. He did have a bit of an attitude on the pitch, but I always liked that about him. He had personality and I saw him as a future captain. Wenger did too, even called him future England captain I believe.Just going off what housemate said (cant imagine him lying knowing him), and there was more besides that going all the way up to ~2014-15 or so from what housemate said (Wilshere was ofc still back in hometown at times) and then the amount of stuff in the media on him too... he had a few incidents outside just drinking and smoking tbf.
Couple of drunken fights... and then a few fights/scuffles on the pitch too. Always had a bit of a temper issue and got him in trouble at times.
Ridiculous the man only scored 20 goals in his entire career given ability.
It does seem that the end of his career humbled him a bit going off interviews in later years once left Arsenal. So maybe matured quite a bit.

It is what it is. I still believe that injuries are what killed his career. Because if there was one manager that could straighten out a young player, it's Wenger. He saved Tony Adams career after all.
I have to be honest, I can't stand Guardiola.Wenger is probably my favourite manager ever...
well, at least top 3 alongside Guardiola and Kevin Keegan (what a football philosophy, massively underrated player as well) aha.
I have to be honest, I can't stand Guardiola.
But obviously I can see why you like him.
I love his style of play and hate it at the same time if that makes sense. It's innovative and obviously he's one of the smartest people in football right now. But when I watch City everything feels so rehearsed. It's the same way with Arsenal and Arteta right now. It's great when you win and dominate, but it can also be very frustrating to watch. I guess I just want more chaos lol, more end to end football.I just love attacking football, loved his style of play when he was at Barca and Bayern too.
Also a big Klopp fan for the same reason. Football is entertainment...
used to tune in to MOTD all the time back in early to mid 2000s just to watch Wenger's teams.
Not sure if the ref was worse than those away kits, but it's close. Both the yellows on Tomiyasu were a joke... and I say that with someone who has a vested interest in Arsenal losing. (though tbh never begrudge Arsenal a win.)
Chilwell actively trying not to score a goal here
