Kane to Madrid would be a win-win-win for all parties, assuming he is willing to go to a club outside of England and isn't willing to re-sign.

Trebles amongst clubs in the big 5 leagues:

Man United: 1998-99
Barcelona: 2008-09
Inter: 2009-10
Bayern: 2012-13
Barcelona: 2014-15
Bayern: 2019-20

Kind of crazy no-one did it before 1998.

Insane Real have never done it for example. So close so many times from the 1950s onwards.

I don’t see Madrid doing that as they are waiting for Halaand to run his contract out at City

If spurs want to maximize value, they have to sell to an English club. Doesn't mean they should, but the English premium would net them another 15 easy.

Waiting for Mbappe more than Halaand I think, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get both

Yeah I could see that. I’m just going off of Halaand saying he wants to play for Madrid. That dude it literally living the dream. Going to his pops club and will probably win the treble and after that, being 24-25 and going wherever he wants . He is getting into George Best status

Rumor has it he’s going to start an avocado farm

He was definitely unique.

Some of his quotes are hilarious.

I still remember his goal against Italy at the Euros 2004. What a goal.
Crazy group finish too. Italy got eliminated and went home unbeaten because Sweden and Denmark only needed a draw in their final group game. Naturally the Italians thought they did it on purpose.

Not really sure why Spurs rushed to sign Ange, @Jack Straw...

I don't even know if he's any good or if he lucked into his situation at Celtic. His track record pre-Glasgow wasn't very impressive...
Considering that they already swung and missed on Nagelsmann and Slot, I'm not sure that "rushed" is the right word. Apparently Scott Munn likes him so that probably had a lot to do with it.

I would say rushed as in hiring a manager before a director of football... seems a little backwards.

Especially since Ange probably wasn't fielding offers from other high profile clubs...

So standard operating procedure for Spurs. The whole situation is such a mess that at this point just getting someone to take the job classifies as a win.

Didn’t he score a hat trick against England, including a crazy bicycle kick from outside the box.

I believe it was Shawcross’s (sp) first ever cap and Ibra abused him and never got called up again

Yeah, I remember that goal. Was pretty spectacular. I actually think he scored all 4 goals that game. Too bad it was only a friendly game.

I looked it up. Shawcross came on as a sub and Ibra scored three goals against him in 16 minutes. Never called up again lol.

Knew there was some sort of hat trick in there aha

In fairness..... had a solid career at Stoke.

Aha. They had that one guy with the crazy throw in that was like a free kick
Rory Delap. Yeah, he was a real weapon for them.

It's funny, maybe it's just me, but I think we saw a lot more long throw ins this season. I know that Arsenal did it a lot and other teams as well.

I wonder what the percentage of Stokes goals were scored from his throws. They literally shaped their roster and team tactics around it. Always found it funny that they had Crouch but he sucked at headers
