Sweet. The wife brought it up, so hopefully it's something we do. She'll be getting in on Saturday from Amsterdam and I'll be getting in Saturday morning on a red eye, so the Sunday game might work out better. Now to try and figure out how to get tickets

Good luck. You cpuld check with some of the residents folks here if they have any spurs specific twitter accounts that are connected. I don't follow any spurs accounts for obvious reasons so I can't help much there, unfortunately.

I would be wary of the secondary Market. Ticket scams are apparently pretty bad over there from what I constantly read.

So we decided to head to London mid-March. I looked and there are four premier league games within close proximity and was wondering if any would be worth trying to see. I watch the Union and WC, but don't really pay any attention to any other league. Would it be dumb to go? Obviously the CP v MC game would be the best, but it seems like all these games are impossible to get tickets to. Looks like you have to be a club member to have any chance of getting tickets. I did check some resale sites, but don't fully understand it. The below is for the Hotspur V. Nottingham match. They don't really tell you where you're sitting, they just have the entire section highlighted.

Here are the four matches that will be played while we're there and close to where we're staying.

Id definitely recommend Craven Cottage. My buddy used to have season tickets there and spoke about the atmosphere. Even from tv I get the vibe. Plus they are recently back in the top league and doing well. Arsenal is also in London so that always plays in

Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting much, but Felix has looked pretty fantastic in his limited games. There's noone else on the team bar James and Enzo who has his vision and creativity. I dont want to make a snap judgement but if he keeps playing like this, it's be hard to not explore bringing him in.

The probpem will be making room for him. So many players qho can play behind a striker but no actual strikers.
I caught the last 20 minutes and the commentators spoke about how well Felix was playing. He did miss a quality a chance that I saw, and they said a couple others, but was fantastic otherwise.

His skill set is so rare.does things not too many people can do. Just needs to be more consistent but if it all comes together, top class all the way

Yeah, he's missed a few in the few games he's played. But basically everybody in this team is learning how to play with each other as the starting XI is mostly all new /coming bsck from injury.

At this stage, Chelsea really sont have much to play for (unless you think a CL is realistic, which I dont), so I'd much prefer to see games like this where you can see the formation coming together, even if there are some obvious mistakes (Enzo isn't a #6 deapite him playing there and that's why hes getting dribbled past multiple times in this game and others). I'm at the stage where results are inconsequential; just start instilling the mechanics you want to see in preparation for next year. Take your 8th or 9th place this year and come back next year with it figured out and not 2/3 of your starting XI hurt.

They were fantastic the last 20 minutes I caught. Just didn’t get the equalizer. What a difference having James back also

He really is one of the key cogs to the team and it's such a downgrade from him to whoever replaces him when he's out, which is why they went out and got Gusto this window.

Then again, its always difficult for any position when you're stepping down from "best in the world" to the next best.

I keep forgetting to ask…

Do you guys have any must-follow people/accounts on soccer Twitter for analysis, news, or that kind of stuff?

I don’t want Meltzer-like garbage. Only good stuff.

Thanks.

Perfect, thank you!

There's some good middle ground ones but really, a lot of the good ones are very team specific. For example, CFCCentral does absolutely phenomenal breakdowns of Chelsea targets and games, formations, etc. But he's only focused on Chelsea.

Fabrizio is definitely thr guy to follow for news in terms of signings, sacking, contracts etc.

The news about Atsu has been rumored for a while now but doesn't make it any less sad today. Didn't spend much time with the actual first team but I still remember some of his offseason interviews on ChelseaTV. Seemed like such a genuinely caring person who was well liked by his teammates. Terrible news to wake up to today.

The story in general is f***ed up real bad, he wasn’t supposedly even supposed to be in the country at that time but changed his plans last minute to celebrate with his team. Reportedly. Stuff sucks.

Yeah. According to papers he was going to get a transfer, cancelles his flight to France, I believe to stay and celebrate scoring a winning goal.
