They need to buy an attacker. Only way I see them holding off city. They have a legitimate shot to win it, the owner of Walmart can't be cheap here. I dont expect them to buy though.
We’ll see I guess. I’m not getting my hopes up for the Joao Felix and Mudryk rumors, but I do expect us to buy someone.

Every Bayern contract states that players are not allowed to practice dangerous sports. However, ski touring - which is mostly practiced off-piste - is not considered one of the dangerous sports. Neuer, therefore, was not prohibited from practicing ski touring on holiday

I'm not 100% "Berhalter in" for next qualifying campaign but I think you're being overly harsh here.
Rightly or wrongly I think "everyone sucks here" for the Reyna drama - he's more talented than Weah but the on and off field work ethic by Reyna was supposedly abysmal.
For Steffen, he pulled out of the September friendlies to focus on his mental health. Is it really a surprise then that he wasn't called? Turner has been better throughout the year and Horvath is probably on the same tier as Steffen. Yes, Steffen is better than Sean Johnson but I'm not going to be too upset over the 3rd goalkeeper selected.
Which 2nd rate MLS guy was picked over someone in a "proven league"? Are we talking Ferrira vs. Pepi or the Morris sub over Reyna? The Morris sub over Reyna is dumb (and I would have picked Arriola for the roster over Morris in the first place) but Ferreira and Pepi and really all the other strikers outside of Sargent (who still isn't really anything to write home about) are all interchangeable.
I mean jeez, I think overall Berhalter met expectations in all competitive competitions and in rebuilding a program that was in a decrepit state in 2018. He might not be the right guy moving forward but from 2018 - 2022 I don't see how he deserves anything less than a B+.

I mean... they finished behind Canada and Mexico in qualifying with the best team on paper... and tied with Costa Rica who are at their weakest for maybe 30 years or so on paper.
Steffen is better than Horvath having watched Steffen for a long time and Horvath in Championship this year...
Turner? Turner is a good goalie but he has played 4 games all season. I think him and Steffen are roughly the same level, but not taking your ~1st/2nd best goalie is bizarre.
Look at how craply the CBs played in the tournament, especially in terms of passing out. Zimmerman and Long are just not that good technically. Both struggle to complete passes when pressed which is just what every international CB should be able to do these days.
Palmer-Brown and McKenzie are better and did not even make the team.
Neither Morris or Ferreira should have gone really... Pepi and Pefok are better... and better than Arreola too.
Tillman and Busio should have probably gone too. Albeit midfield is more crowded with guys that level.
This USA team is the most talented ever. They have arguably 2 of the best 4 US players ever to walk the earth in Pulisic and Reyna, and a very good supporting cast.
Yeh, he has done "fine"... but I could never award him more than a C really. And they need to get a better coach with a more progressive tactical mind as well as obviously better personal skills to take this group to the level they can.
