As it stands right now, assuming City beat United in the FA cup, you'd still make it even if one of Newcastle or Chelsea leap frogged you. So in reality, you need to lose out, Chelsea and Newcastle have to win out.
Chelsea won't win out, so you're pretty much safe. We'll draw with Brighton is my guess.
If Ineos can do for United what they’ve done with the cycling team things should get a lot better.
Edit: Although I guess a lot of that success came before Ineos took over so…
