This is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I mean, how is this even possible?

How many people could even throw a ball and have it come back to them like that, let alone kick it.

Players like Ronaldinho don't exist anymore. Even a guy like Vinicius Jr. who's probably the closest to that player today doesn't have that wow factor.

This Sportico list is wild: World’s 50 Most Valuable Soccer Clubs 2024 Rankings

The Union play 17 MLS home games and only brought in $72 MM in revenues last year. The Flyers brought in $219 MM with the dubious TV contract and favorable arena situation. Forbes had them at 1.65 B last summer after a more than unusual 32% YOY increase.

I’m not a US soccer is a sleeping giant person, but the Union being #4 in city popularity in my lifetime feels very much on the table. That doesn’t happen in big American cities.

And the Union will likely also get a viewership boost in the near future because of Cavan Sullivan and the next World Cup.

It would help a lot if the games were more accessible on TV. I have Apple+ but that doesn't include MLS and I'm not going to pay extra for it.

Joselu. What a career that man's had. Feels like it was yesterday when I watched him play for a midtable team fighting relegation and not really being impressed. And now he's playing for Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
