I haven’t looked at the Premier League table in a while and I was definitely not expecting what I saw.

I guess it’s still pretty early but it’s definitely looking interesting.

I love Havertz

I'll always have a sift spot for that one goal.

We definitely didn't put him in the best position to succeed, but he didn't do himself any favors either. One of those situations where you just agree it didn't work and both move on happy.

Odd to see a table where the teams interchange because the league is actually competitive. Strange concept for some.

@Jack Straw how often and intent was Poch on using CB as FB during his spurs days? Rewatching todays game and looking back the last few, this team looks so much different when they have appropriate RB/LB vs defaulting to CBs as FBs (colwill and disasi).

I feel like I remember Dier slotting in to CB and pushing someone as a CB to RB fairly frequently (or maybe playing RB himself?) but it was a long time ago and I figure you're probably better versed than I at this point.

Honestly I couldn’t really say. What I remember is that Vertonghen and Alderweirald were the mainstays at CB. Then they had Danny Rose, Serge Aurier, Trippier, KWP as wingbacks. I don’t remember Dier or Davies playing all that much back then.

Dier made a couple of cameo appearances at RB towards the beginning of his career and Vertonghen did as well at LB but in general we used FBs at FBs the vast majority of the time with Poch. Davies also came to Spurs as a FB who could play CB in a back 3.
