That would cost about 12 bucks here in Canada these days or more.....the fast food joints have gone crazy on pricing . A Dbl BWhopper /cheese upsize the fries does sound delicious though...it has been a couple of years for sure . I remember as a 10 yr old listening to Rangers on the radio in the early 70's and the BK commercials.....and just dreaming about it ....and at that point we never even had a McDonalds here .....the only hamburger we would see came from the old Holstein cow hanging up bleeding out behind the barn ...before being ground into hamburger and frozen......the good old days LOL.....that was when hamburgers were hamburgers...
Uggh, is that what they really do to those cute little cowzies? Might become a veggietarian lol.(mis-spelling done in purpose)

What’s funny is that’s where I’m trying to get to

I still hate our system

to me, it's the equivalent of only running the ball in the NFL and rarely passing it.

Our puck movement and transition is a chore to watch
People bumping into each other not knowing where to go, causing turnovers and zone time in their end. Long cycles that don't produce anything. But 4 games above .500, so it's working.

Ive read enough. Your HFNYR family is going to start a GoFundMe page and we are going to get you a very special Dbl Whopper Christmas dinner meal.

Every zone exit was a struggle and every zone entry seemed to be broken up by a well placed stick. If it happens a few times, you could say it was the players. But when it happens all game like it did, it has to be the system.

The puzzling thing is that at the start of the season their passing and overall synergy was excellent. Where the hell did that team go?

Don’t forget Makar tried to sell a penalty and flopped his head back like JFK at the end of the third period as well.

Dude is the Crosby of defensemen

This was the winning formula last year. I don’t want to win games by only relying on Igor.

My biggest concern is that gallant will shuffle lines for Monday because “we didn’t play well”
you need to have crisp puck movement to play well against the teams like Colorado.

You need strong tactics and X's and O's to have good puck/player movement. We dont have anything resembling we practice.

I get owning the boards and getting the puck deep. That's great. That's foundational. But it's about to be 2023... The game has changed. It's more about puck movement, tactics and X's and O's. We're behind the curve.

I'm kinda torn being an Avs and a Rangers fan and seeing this growing "rivalry" lol.

2 points was needed and taken. But Gallant needs to get Kravtsov in for Vesey or Blais. And move Goodrow down to the 4th line. And not just because of @EdJovanovski 's mental health.

Consistency is just a huge issue. Outside of Fox, who in this team actually brings in a consistent effort?

The sad part is, I think we have the palyers to actually play a style resembling Colorado. Nobody in this league has a D-corps like Colorado, but ours isn't bad from a puck moving perspective. We have plenty of good wingers. We should be able to do it.

Just find a coach who will get it together.

Igor does overdo the windmill sometimes. But Makar is still a baby.

I called 7+ goals for Schneider before the season I have to find the post.

You're delusional if you think this roster can play an up-tempo style like the Avs play. Their entire attack is predicated on their team speed. Even their bottom of the roster guys like Compher, Myers & O'Connor have good wheels. We have 3 forwards that can get through the neutral zone and back the defense off...Gaultier, Zib & Panarin. And Panarin literally stops dead in his tracks as soon as he's inside the blue line.

On defense, Fox can do it but he plays at a snails pace, which works for him because he thinks the game faster than most. However it allows the other team time to set up & defend, which is problematic at times.

Got outplayed pretty badly by Jean-luc Foudy and the crew.

This team cannot play well until Goodrow is on the 4th line. He completely tanks every top 9 line he’s on but can be a big help for the 4th line. That line was beyond horrendous tonight in every facet of the game. 9 chances against, 1 chance for. Which went in the net of course lol
but did you see the quality assist from Goody to Panarin that set it all up... lol

I think that's more about coaching the system and the players, than actual physical attributes. I've said this before, but Mikko Rantanen is not exactly a rocket on skates. Yet he's pretty damn good in that system. We are not physically too slow, we just play too slow. Way too many times we have forwards caught standing, our PP is too static etc.
