999. Vesey and Goodrow
I just don't get the hate for Vesey and Goodrow. They were 2 of the more physical players. Goodrow with a point. Vesey saved Panarins ass at least 3 times. Edit. He penalty kills and he earns 6.5% of what Panarin does. I just don't get it.

#1 Igor He clearly is sleeping well on the road
#2 Bread for the shake and bake
#3 Schneider without his goal we don't make it to overtime

Goodrow tripped from behind on a break away, how is that not a penalty or penalty shot?
Same. Unfortunately I cant vote for Schneider. What is this twitter?!

The Good:
Igor being Vezina Igor.
Decent team defense. Igor was good, but I don't think he had to stand on his head the entire game.
3 game winning streak , 2 against tough, though depleted, opponents.

The bad:
The third line, especially Vesey, was atrocious. Vesey was like a black hole of hockey skill every time he touched the puck.
None of our forwards scoring in regulation.

Let me tell ya, if any game this season was gonna get me cised, this was the one. So much excitement I can't contain, I'm ready to go out hit & the BK drive thru.
Get a Double Whopper, but be sure to sub fries with onion rings.

14th in the league in pts %. While struggling. This is why you get cised and stay cised.
Of all the blown leads to the Devils and Islanders and Sens, the terrible losses to Chicago and Anaheim, all of the Halak losses, if we just get ONE of those back, 2nd in the Metro would belong solely to the New York Rangers

“Lacking jump” is one of the most repeated phrases this year regarding the team. By the coaches, players, fans and media. I’m not so sure we “lack jump,” which implies poor effort. It just seems we are way too slow and it becomes painfully obvious when we play teams w/ speed.

I mostly agree, but there's way too many times that this team is caught flat footed, simply because they aren't moving their feet. That's an effort problem.

After that game, I think it's okay to sit Blais or Vesey. Blais in particular had a really bad game. This game, the Rangers were far more tested than they should have been and they looked very mediocre for big chunks of the game.

Kakko and Laffy continue to show flashes at times, but they need to play a full 60 with speed and energy. They neuter Zibanejad when they don't move their leg
Kakko and Laffy must have whiplash after that first period watching the Avs move the puck around them in the D zone. Then when the Rangers finally got the puck Laffy had no idea where to go and Kakko was in his outlet position at the right wall and immediately closed down because every team knows that's how the Rangers break out.

I mention them but it's basically the same issue for every single individual player out there. No coordination, no speed, no real ideas outside of get it (somehow) into the o zone and start to forecheck. Trochek eg is trying to deke through the opposition in a one man attack time and time again. Everything is so damn uncoordinated and clumsy.

But yeah 2 points thanks to Igor and the boys battled in the second and third. Also the team was delighted with the win so good for them.
