This is one of those “You damn well better win this” sort of games. Sharks with Georgiev backstopping them, should have been a rout.
It’s unfortunate that they’re still not playing well but at least SOMEONE finally stepped up.

Anyway, thanks Fourgiev, you are NOT missed. The eventual game winner was an absolute garbage goal to give up, nice to be on the other side of that for a change.
Georgiev played well for the Sharks - edge of hs crease, precise and controlled - until he reverted back to normal form.
Thought it was interesting that he wore all SJ colored gear - including his goalie helmet while Blackwood was still wearing his SJ blocker, glove and cage. Georgie really wanted to disassociate from his former team ASAP.
MacK's puck control has been terrible (for him). He's regularly turning it over or getting checked. JT Miller caught him (clocked him) behind his own net in Vancouver the other night. Yes, something is wrong with him.
Overall, the Avs need to simplify their offense. Their puck possession and control is poor. They hold the puck far too long, esp on the PP (when they actually control it), aren't precise with their passes, lose most 1 on 1 puck possession battles and their forecheck is a step or too late.
Did I mention their face off wins are a rare occurrence?
Shot the damn puck, go to the net and win the rebound battle.

Holy f*** Cale played 30:57 tonight, against the f***ing Sharks, on the fist night of a back to back.
The game didn't even go to OT and he literally played over half the game. That's honestly psychotic.
We need another Defenseman before Bednar kills Cale.
