It's still early, but somehow Georgie has managed to get even worse. I realize the Sharks are bad, but I didn't think he could actually get worse than he was.

Need to at least get him off the PK, that'll reduce his minutes.. But we need another PK defender for that

They need a better system is what they need. The current one is handcuffed to Toews and Makar because they insist on keeping the defensemen right by the goalposts instead of spreading them out. So they have to be incredibly good at acceleration in order to get to any loose pucks (which they almost never do).

Still insanely bitter that Graves looked absolutely incredible on the PK when he was first called up to the NHL, then they forced him to become a shot-blocker and totally ruined that part of his game.

His rebound control has been ridiculously bad. He spills everything right back out into the slot.

He’s also overcommitting on east-west cross ice passes, sometimes sliding right out of the crease.

Finally, he’s getting beaten cleanly on point shots. Chances he should be easily stopping are just ripping past him.

No idea what the hell has happened to him.
