Agreed, they're looking very strong on paper. But if they end up losing Barkov and Mäntylä, it'll be difficult to find replacements, especially for Barkov. I've read rumors that he's leaving for NA, but we'll probably have to wait a couple of months to know for sure.

Valtteri Parikka, Defenceman (one year contract) - Will likely spend his time in the U20-Ässät, but Ässät are hoping for big things for the future
Kamil Kreps, Forward (one year contract?) - Right now slotted to be the second line center, but has the tools to take the first line job.

Edit. Oh, and they also made a contract with some foreigner defenceman, but name will be announced early July.

Since Gibson was born before 1st of January 1993 (12-12-92) he won't re-enter the draft, LA loses his rights and he becomes an UFA.

So Gibson's development stayed still in Chicoutimi... I guess it would be good for him to come back home now to some team with good goalie development: TPS, HPK and Ässät already stacked?

Gibson's an interesting name. He could be salvageable with good coaching. I hope someone makes him an offer. I don't think HPK has room for him (they've got Tuohimaa and Saros), don't know about TPS and Ässät.
